Marvin Hagler had to go 15 rounds against Duran to win a close decision. Marvin Hagler knocked out Thomas Hearns in 3 rounds. All that stuff about one fighter knocking out the same fighter that another fighter is having to go the distance with is bogus, meaning it doesn't mean anything. I'd of preferred Franchon vs Savannah instead of Femke. I STILL believe, despite being her inaugral fight, Franchon was Shields toughest opponent. If Savannah performed the way she did with Femke against Franchon - I'd sway more towards Savannah.
I'd happily pay £20 PPV for this fight. I would have never said that I'd pay to watch woman's boxing maybe 10 years ago, but it's come on so well these last few years, and some of the fights on the undercard of men's fights, can sometimes be the fight of the night.
