This is the scope that got me to change to first focal plane, I flat love this scope, and have been a lifetime Leupold man. This scope punches way above its price point. I can’t believe what I am doing at 300 yards with my good .22 This has made me better on the 6.5 and the 300 prc.

I had a $600 budget for scope+tax+rings+ tax, and I did it with the illuminated reticle! Got it out to the range yesterday, and went from Bore sighting to bullseye in six shots at 100 yards. First time I ever used a milrad scope, so watching this video taught me how to read the scope. The only other guy there couldn't believe a BUSHNELL would work this good. He shot a few at 200 yards and said the glass was WAY BETTER then his Vortex Diamondback. Really happy with BUSHNELL customer service as well. My bank tried to stop the transaction because they thought it was fraud. But they went through with the transaction and had it in hand in THREE business days...WITH the rings!! Very happy with the BUSHNELL company, BUSHNELL customer service and BUSHNELL MATCH PRO 6-24x50 illuminated scope! Thanks again, you sexy S.O. B.!!

I grabbed the non illuminated version for 299 , after watching your video a couple weeks back...been using it for a few days now ...very nice. If I had to nitpick, the only thing would be the eye relief/box window...very small...but thats it...this thing rocks.
I know this vid is 4yrs old, but I just purchased a Savage mark II minimalist in 22lr for Sporter shooting, and also just purchased this scope for it, mostly because of this review. I wound up getting this scope in the illuminated version from Natchez on sale for $315.00 with tax and shipping! Im hoping this set-up will suit me well.
Might sound trivial, but I like the fact that only the center of the reticle is illuminated, and that there are off "stops" between each power setting.
Bushnell has consistently produced scopes with good constant Eye Relief (>3.5 inches) throughout the magnification range; good clarity; good coatings and decent features below $400. I've purchased several Bushnell scopes of the same line several months apart and the quality doesn't fluctuate. Bushnell's warranties are amongst the best as well. I've never had to use it. I'm seriously considering the Match Pro. It has everything I want in a rifle scope under $600. Other scopes either have short Eye Relief; non-illuminated reticles; non locking turrets or the turrets are not marked L & R on the windage.
Got one when they first shipped. Amazing, unbeatable for the money. No wonder whey they are still out of stock. Been waiting to buy another for months now, to put on my ruger pr22

I know it’s made for NRL 22, but I use it on my 300 WM with no problems. I love the tool less zero. I have one with illumination, one without. I got the non illuminated for $300! That’s a steal in my mind. I could have paid another $100 for illuminated, but I’m happy for $300 for a non illuminated. I’ve never used the illumination on my scopes that have it while hunting.

So i am going to be in the market for a new 6-24 ish scope for long range, 1000 plus yards to be mounted atop my Browning 28 nosler rifle, im currently using a Sig Tango 4 on my 6.5 grendel for intermediate shots,, but if i wanted to spend 800 or less, what is the absolute best bang for the buck... Must haves are: FFP, Mil/Mil reticle or variant, illuminated reticle, great glass, and repeatable turretts.. i know there are multiplle scopes to choose from but which is your top bang for that dollar value..

No man I have only done one Nikko S review and the scope was simply poor quality . It was when I first started my channel and it was one of the very first scopes that let me down HUGE ! Once bitten twice shy I guess . I know they have their fans , but I'm not one of them . Scope had multiple issues and it went back several times and each time they said it was fine . ..

Hello Joe gr8 content hope you had a gr8 Christmas I have a question I'm thinking of getting a nightforce shv 3-12x56 it's parallax is fixed at 100 meters it has no ao or side pa and I'd like to adjust it to about 35m have you ever removed the end lense cap and adjusted it your self ?? This particular NF is only in the UK and IV been offered a gr8 deal on it I no it's a big hunting scope but I'd love it to work on my PCP air rifle any help would be amazballs IV contact ed NF but they still haven't got back to me yet regards big Willie
Willie I've adjusted a couple of Leupold scopes that way . But remember if you do that the range that will be in focus and parallax free will be VERY shallow ! And will almost certainly void the warranty. It's only a great deal if it meets your needs . If it doesn't .........
Joe, you are the scope guru! I'm torn between the Arken SH4 Gen 2 6-24x50 and the Bushnell Match Pro. Just getting into precision shooting (NRL22), and thought the Zero stop feature would be a quality I definitely wanted. As the Arken has it, and the Bushnell doesn't, is the overall quality of the Bushnell enough to forego that feature? And in .22 competition, will I need it as much as I might think I will?

Have you ever reviewed a Simmons 8-point 3-9x40. I have this scope on many of my hunting rifles. They seem to work very well on my deer rifles. Thinking about getting s Simmons pro target 6-24x50. I hope it's just as good as the 8-point
so ive got a few older Bushnell optics and i really like their glass. to my eyes they are very clear and have tremendous eye relief. do you think these newer models are just as good at this? and do you think they would survive on a spinger?

Would you consider this a good varmint scope? Or is it overkill, you said it was for 22 shooting? I have plans to put together 2 varmint setups of a 17 hornet or a 204 ruger for long distance coyotes, bobcat etc Then a setup of a 22wmr or 17 wsm for smaller game like squirrel, ground hog and etc.

I am purchasing a Remington PCR 308win, and I would like to know if this scope can handle operating this rifle. Also among the other two scopes was the bushnell engage 6-24x50mm and the DIAMONDBACK TACTICAL 6-24X50 FFP. Among these three scopes, which one would you recommend me to buy to use this rifle?
@@CyclopsJoeVideos Good to know I'm glad it's not just mine. I'm sure it'll be fine with a 20 moa base, worse case I put a 30 moa on it. This is on a 6.5 cm AR-10 so I can't imagine I'll have too much of a problem with it. I do love the turrets on this optic and it's just as clear if not clearer than the zeiss v4 it replaced and has far less chromatic aberration.

Joe always speaks the truth and I hate when they bad mouth him. I tried the nipple twister on my wife and all I can remember is waking up from a coma three days later.
Is the color fringing caused by the scope or your recording device? I’d dare say this lens isn’t even an achromatic if it’s the scope causing the fringing.

In my first year for target shooting. Would this scope be a good choice for a S&M MP 15 Sport 2 (AR15)? Or overkill? Online searching points me to cheaper scopes. Bought one and "Paid the Price" for going cheap. Appreciate help from Joe Rhea or other experienced shooters.
Hi, I would like to use it on a Christensen arms MPR, how tall of a scope ring (rising from the rail) should I use so it doesn't touch the handguard without being too high up?

No man it ain't trivial at ALL ! the less of the reticle that's illuminated, the clearer the image downrange

The BUSHNELL has a slight edge in clarity , the Arken has the best build quality

If any brand I'm a fanboy of is Bushnell because I grew up on it and over the last 40yrs they never missed the mark. So I really wanted to get into one BUT a full year in production they are still Factory direct?
Have you ever reviewed a Simmons 8-point 3-9x40. I have this scope on many of my hunting rifles. They seem to work very well on my deer rifles. Thinking about getting s Simmons pro target 6-24x50. I hope it's just as good as the 8-point

so ive got a few older Bushnell optics and i really like their glass. to my eyes they are very clear and have tremendous eye relief. do you think these newer models are just as good at this? and do you think they would survive on a spinger?
Much better than older models . They are all springer rated
@@commonsense5709 i guess my eyes do nt like Vortex. something about them i just cant find that view thats not closing in on my FOV. I have a lot of different ones. i just keep trying different styles.
I run a bushnell xrs 2 on my prs rifle would love to try the match pro out on a training rifle . Awesome review

Would you consider this a good varmint scope? Or is it overkill, you said it was for 22 shooting?
I have plans to put together 2 varmint setups of a 17 hornet or a 204 ruger for long distance coyotes, bobcat etc
Then a setup of a 22wmr or 17 wsm for smaller game like squirrel, ground hog and etc.

good afternoon! I just saw the video you posted about MATCH PRO RIFLESCOPE - 6-24X50 ILLUMINATED on your channel. I even wrote to myself. I am purchasing a Remington PCR 308win, and I would like to know if this scope can handle operating this rifle. Also among the other two scopes was the bushnell engage 6-24x50mm and the DIAMONDBACK TACTICAL 6-24X50 FFP.
Among these three scopes, which one would you recommend me to buy to use this rifle?

Bushnell has better glass , Arken has the better mechanics
My Match Pro elevation knob stops rotating at 8.2 mils, is this normal or should there be more elevation range on these?
It's not a scope with a ton of adjustment. But I do love this scope
@@CyclopsJoeVideos Good to know I'm glad it's not just mine. I'm sure it'll be fine with a 20 moa base, worse case I put a 30 moa on it. This is on a 6.5 cm AR-10 so I can't imagine I'll have too much of a problem with it. I do love the turrets on this optic and it's just as clear if not clearer than the zeiss v4 it replaced and has far less chromatic aberration.
How does this compare to Sightron Siii series glass?

Why is the reticle not show "1" or "2" on the first hold over? The webpage clearly shows 1, 2 , 3, moving down the tree.

Is the color fringing caused by the scope or your recording device? I’d dare say this lens isn’t even an achromatic if it’s the scope causing the fringing.

In my first year for target shooting. Would this scope be a good choice for a S&M MP 15 Sport 2 (AR15)? Or overkill? Online searching points me to cheaper scopes. Bought one and "Paid the Price" for going cheap. Appreciate help from Joe Rhea or other experienced shooters.

Match Pro is a more expensive, and worth it ! The Arken’s a great buy but for the tar $150 the Match pro is a better scope

They are both REALLY GOOD, but I prefer the turrets on the Arken . But the Bushnell illumination is brighter if that helps . Thanks for watching
