  • How to paint a watercolor beehive illustration in Procreate. In this video, I show you an easy method for painting a beehive and a bunch on honey bees.
🐝 Stuff I used for this video
I used a procreate watercolor kit that lets me paint in a more natural watercolor style:
    - Little pine brush (Default brush in the Drawing tab)
    - *Abstract round/fineliner pen (from the watercolor kit)
    - *Backrun paper texture (Optional but pretty cool))
*The watercolor kit is a product I sell on my etsy store to support the channel. These tools support this RUclips channel where I post new tutorials every week.
    Watercolor kit (Etsy):
    drifterstudio....
    Backrun paper texture (Etsy):
    drifterstudio....
(I'm very active on Etsy and you can contact me directly if you need anything or if you want a refund.)
If you cannot afford the brushes/texture, please message me on my Etsy store in the links above and I can help you. I love to teach art and help traditional artists try out digital painting. The income from the Etsy store makes this project remain financially sustainable. I really try to use the best hardware and software I can afford and make the videos as good as I possibly can. Currently I am building a new recording booth in my office so I can use a better camera arrangement and microphone position.

That was a very simplified tutorial!! You have a really well balanced tone of voice.
When I will get an Ipad, I will draw one of these. Actually, Nymfy Asmr recommended your channel, She brought me here.

Thank you so much! it really means a lot to me. I really try to make my videos as easy as possible to listen too and I'm so happy to hear that it's working 😱
I really recommend the iPad/Apple Pencil 2. It's so nice to be able to create some artwork so conveniently. As a digital art device, the iPad has made me a better illustrator.

Thank you so much! In this video, I'm using the backrun paper texture. It's not totally necessary but it adds a lot of noise and scratchiness to the painting that makes it more interesting. Paper textures can also make the painting process itself more satisfying because you get a sort of satisfying texture in every brush stroke.
