Damn I played this game as a child and found a handfull of these glitches and exploits on my own. But the masterful execution all of them and that final giant clank rocket spam that I didn't know of. Completely blew my mind. Hats off to you Good Sir.👏👏
damn that kalidon bossroom escape is awesome. actually same with on medical outpost and challax. must be a lot to memorize. I never knew you could jump through longer gaps with the christallix armor, good to know
This was the only ratchet and clank game I couldn't beat as kid, it got so frustrating and annoying I remember just not playing it anymore, I'd go back to deadlocked or GC
Everyone did except for me, the ps2 port of this game was my ONLY video game from ages 5-9 before I got a ps3 with ToD and aCIT along with a few racing games so I kinda got Stockholm syndrome from this one in a sense, I really want to find an emulator for this one as I hear ppsspp and pcsx2 are both bad at running it
@@baguetteboi1065 The ppsspp one runs it very well now to be honest I did a 100% playthur of it like 3 months ago. I would just change control to strafe on the angle stick in the menu.
Hey I found a way to skip the entire Challax ship chase, if you get to the cutscene where the ship destroys the two platforms behind you and get back to the first platform then teleport back to your ship and back again it will land you at the end of the chase
Hey yoyo, I tested out the trick you explained, but I couldn't get it to work; I just end up back at the start of the ship chase after taking the teleporter twice. I'd love to hear some more details about this trick, as I'm a Size Matters speed runner trying to get it to work. Thanks.
It's a trick where you do a high jump next to the ship and right after get into it, after getting back out of the ship, you'll be thrown up super high, and then you can just glide to the end of the level. The no proxies category exists so that the runners can use more diverse tricks instead of just doing ship proxy on like half the levels
Tbh, I liked the unique content that this game offered, but I felt that this game was really unrefined compared to the older R&C games I played before this one.

@@TehMillionkill because you would normally start with no armor and 2 weapons. when you finished the final boss, you have the option to restart with all equipment that you have.

The skip at 2:00 is a lifesaver, did my tenth rerun of the game and did not want to play the clank mission
