Me alegra mucho ver qué hagas estos vídeos, sobretodo porqué el lenguaje pirexiano era un tema desconocido y quería saber cómo escribir, pero no había mucho para empezar. Y gracias a Wizards que nos reveló las herramientas y tú sigues con estos vídeos. ¡Haces un trabajo increíble!
So if it is perfection rather than flesh, that means it goes something like “when x found incompleat ones, we put yawgmoths perfection on them” which means it’s probably the phyrexian equivalent of saying “the rivers ran red” yknow what I mean? It’s like a threatening story. Past tense conditional could maybe mean something like “the last time”? Idk
So if we assume that the quat is referring to the events of the brothers' war like all of the once added recently I would take a wilde guess and say that 'veornaish' is referring to Mishra or to Urza and Mishra together and that the word that is referring to "notcompleated" might be translated as the Thran or to powerstons as those were part of the origins of Phyrexia the thing about bringing Yawgmath's perfection might be referring to Mishra's Compleation or more generally to the threat of Phyrexia in the background
It might also be relevant that Yawgmoths name seems to have become a title with a meaning in the phyrexian language, rather then always mean Yawgmoth himself. I can not find the reference right now, but i think that Yawgmoth means "machine father" in phyrexia, and its why they sometimes called Karn by what seems to be the same name. Ofc, this is just from memory so the finer details might be slightly different.
Still loving these videos, even if I don't fully understand all of the theory and details about other languages! Really hoping to see a lot more with the release of All Will Be One, as well as the other Phyrexian cards in New Capenna and Dominaria United. As for "Veornaish," is it possible that it is another name for Gix? With the detail about it containing enough vowels to be a proper name, that would be my first guess. He was the first praetor and Yawgmoth's highest-ranking general, and I believe he was known to bring sick and weak Thran to Yawgmoth to be compleated in old lore. And since this is new with the Brothers' War set, it would make a little sense.
Wey, lit le estoy platicando a David J. Oh shit, you are onto something here. But then, what is this? "Yawgmoth put perfection?" And what does that mean for the text in the video? The subtitles clearly say "we are perfection made flesh" but the phyrexian text would say: "we are the phyrexian work that is perfect"... Does "Phyrexia" mean flesh? I'm so confused right now
@@HighlyEntropicMind I currently interpret this line as something like "We put Yawgmoth's perfection" or "We put perfection in Yawgmoth", but I'm not sure about that. As for the trailer, I always interpreted that as "we are incarnate perfection", so "present flesh-make perfection"
Could Vernaish be a corrupted version on Vengeant, as in Ajani Vengeant, Ajani's initial Planeswalker card? Similar to how Kytheon was corrupted to Gideon? Clues about Compleated seem to confirm this. In terms of MTG lore, Ajani Vengeant was an angry RW version of Ajani we originally met on Alara. His anger came about because of the loss of his brother, an event which caused his spark. He believed that channeling his rage toward avenging his brother was the best path. Current lore in Brothers' War, especially the cinematic video introducing the set, did show us an angry Ajani very much in tune to the origin Ajani as seen in the recent BOOM! comic and older magic story. Ajani could be thinking back to this anger and finding his Vengeant version comfortable as a Phyrexian. In terms of future lore, there is a compelling storyline WOTC could follow. This might be hinting at a second opportunity for Elspeth, who only recently returned to the story and originally helped Ajani find peace away from his Vengeant side, to again redeem the leonin.
If you are right it could mean something like "When Ajani belonged to the incompleat ones, we put Yawgmoth's perfection (on him)" Although that depends on the meaning of the mystery verb

Can't "V-e-o-r-n-a-i-sh" just be Elesh Norn / Norn Elesh? It's almost a perfect anagram of Veornaish and it's storywise the name that makes by far the most sense here. "When Elesh Norn found the incompleat ones, we put Yawgmoth's perfection/flesh on them." (Putting Yawg's perfection/flesh on them meaning: we compleat them). In past tense it would be an omen for Tamiyo & Ajani being lost for good to Phyrexia. If it's just conditional, it is a threat towards the survivors of Dominaria United.
Elesh Norn did not exist yet during the brothers war. Though i supose there is a remote possability that the quote is from present timeline and not from brothers war.
In the past, then was the "veronaish", the breaking of flesh into something better. Lets find this past when Yawgmoth lived in flesh. Put him to live again 2022. Teferis-timetravel-thing-in-the-trailer. No idea actually, just a crazy brainstorm of thoughts. \:D/

The first word might be "historically."
Second to last word should be perfection and not flesh. See phyrexian scriptures and Jin Gitaxias Core Augur

Is there something to be said about the first five characters of "past tense-conditional" and "past tense-habitual" being the same?
Probably
