One of the best songs I've heard in ages. Sharleen's multi-layered vocals on the chorus are nothing short of genius.
It is genius, one of the best songs of the past twenty years. It has caused me to reappraise Texas and after being indifferent since 1989 now I am making up for lost time. A truly amazing tune.

Absolutely amazing. You'd expect a band to be well past their peak, 32 years after the first studio album. Just happily performing the oldies from way back in their heyday to the aging, faithful fans. But nope, Texas go and release new material easily as strong as their classics and no doubt pick up new fans along the way.

I think Donna would approve of how Texas have honoured her by sampling 'Love's Unkind' i this great song. Personally, I think it would sound even better if the sample was slightly louder in the mix creating more of the power of the original song. That's just my opinion but I like the almost subliminal quick shots of Donna in the video. That's respect.
