@@Dawsons_Stuff In pub servers the ai was way worse, they would glide across the map super fast be very laggy and you'd fall through most random parts of the map more often and the vehicles were way worse and you'd prolly get 1 tapped in .023124.8/7's of a millisecond after they stop lagging for half a second.

speaking about broken AIs 3 days ago I played on a public server raiding with other people on naval base, we're almost done clearing. I've decided to go check around the place by myself until I found like 40+ enemies (mostly are RPGs) stuck at the south of naval base. All of them are in the same spot piling up like a zombie horde, but surprisingly they are all deaf from my gunshots so I did not take any damage ngl this made me questioned for like a whole day of how the new advanced AIs still act like the same from previous version/OP Resurgence, it's just weird also the only thing I find funny about these AIs is that they stare at you like you owe them money, especially at close range
Lol i also found that bug, at first I was scared cuz there's like 10+ of them and knowing the ai, it can fire at any time (plus i was using a sniper)i killed them one by one kinda silly 😂
Guys, I think the problem is the fact that the gameload tries to make the enemies more active, unlike operation resurgencia, where the enemies walked like snails and didn't get almost any shots, and when they hit they would give a powder of life, in operation phonix they wanted to do Since it is no longer possible to abuse enemies as before, from what we can see, we will have to wait a while for them to fix this.
They removed a lot of items, the loadout settings are extremely difficult to see, the AI bots are sometimes stupid and sometimes unreasonably difficult, and they added a bunch of bugs. Honestly, I've played other games after seeing these "" update" this.
@@Dawsons_Stuff I will say this though, player counts do die out after post-release but 1/3rd of the player count going out is concerning. That being said, the average is 8,100 in different timezones.
for anyone who knows this quite mirrors the update for another Roblox game called Northwind, extremely overhyped update ends up coming out terribly and it fractures the community so the devs end up riding whomever doesn't criticize their now rancid game.
The UI for the loadout menu is so trash. Tiny little + signs are overlapping each other while your cursor is so massive for no reason. It makes clicking on what you want really difficult. Not to mention the game doesn't tell you or give any indication that attachments can extra attachments. For example, the suppressors. Day one of gen 4 almost no one knew that you could attach suppressors onto rifles because no one can see the little extra + sign that's added on at the end for a specific attachments. Lasers and Flashlights were even more confusing cause you had like 3 different extra popups that you needed to select.
@@trickbaitman I played this game since it was in its Beta stages, it normally spiked about 2 or thousand in player count. This sudden influx of 10k or so players is rather surprising.

At first i thought it wasnt that bad and the people who complained about it were just blinded by nostalgia, but the longer i play the game, the more i realise the devs must've been procrastinating during those 1 year.
This game is literally bleeding now. Hitting AI is just pain Once during solo raid to test out new stuff (bipods, gunplay etc) enemy AI was literally levitating to get on the roof, when i started aiming at the same AI it started rapidly teleporting left or right which made it impossible to shoot it from medium range (not even talking about what shitpost can happen when you are trying to fight with AI on long distance) And also no matter in what vehicle you are you can be killed by AI with standard AK (I got downed while being in a stryker AI just dont care)
I was playing yesterday and when we were almost finished clearing Ronograd city, 3 NPC’s bugged into the walls so we couldn’t kill them, hopefully, they’ll fix these bugs
Buggy ah hell. Is not to be conflated with bad gameplay. Different things. Just want to point, not saying your wrong. This is one buggy ah hew update and ai is still stupid.
If they had waited before releasing it, all that you would have gotten (that we didn't get in the initial launch) would have been the missing gear remodeled and reimplemented entirely while the devs responsible for coding would have been waiting for the modelers to finish some gear that can be added later WHILE the devs doing coding can idk... fix bugs due to migrating data, assets and the entire 15k players overloading the game's servers.
first comment guy here, i stand by my word. first of all, i won’t say people are hating the game just to hate, there’s defo some valid criticism to be made. however, as a dev, i’m pretty amazed at what has been able to be done and really do enjoy the game as a player. I do also feel like the ai was not as broken on release than it is now though, if not a bit OP. I’m sure the game will be fine soon enough after a major patch or two. devving is hard, i’m not asking for you not to criticize, but do so while understanding the troubles that game development has.
Showcases were EXACTLY too smooth to be true because the devs did their job correctly on the dev test place without knowing that this could happen. It's what happens when you have such a huge game requiring so much computing, optimised for as little players as available (the dev team ingame) explodes into 15k players at once + all the usual data and computing loading in real time. Roblox servers are not meant for this, the best they can handle is Adopt Me with 1M players but the game is so poor in code and features that it requires 1M players to arrive to BRM5 GEN4's launch state.
We never knew how good we had it in nightfall. Viper was great. Maybe the “overhaul update” should have never came. We complained, complained, looking back now.. we had it the best.

As a huge gear and specifically night vision nerd, I loved this update. So many more night vision options and white phos!!! Optics are nicer, guns are customized better, gear setup is far more in depth. Love it way more than previous black hawk. HOWEVER….most Blackhawk players aren’t geeked out about gear and play to enjoy the game, which clearly, cannot be enjoyed in this state. Sorry guys, but I honestly can’t complain… i spend most of my time just building kit setups rather than actually playing anyway 😂
Update was bad on release but its getting fixed now and its kind of playable even with bugs I say we wait for fixes instead of literally Blowtorching the devs

I get the criticism but they kind of made a new game from scratch as they said and also gen4 doesnt seem particularly bad They refined everything and also brought new mechanics and improved stealth, game is like squad or arma now with looks and gameplay And honestly, this update is kind of rushed in my opinion, i dont think they actually done a playtest for bugs or how hard it is to get the ai

Bugs/weird stuff i have encountered in the operation Phoenix (Ignore if you dont like me yapping) - bots has a eye of a fucking eagle and has x-ray/wall hack - bot tryhard than the actual player? (sometime) - while parachuting i noclip through the terrain and die - bots wiped my squad and proceeds to ignore me and walk pass me like there's nothing around while i was crawling - helicopter reinforcement that somehow come with reinforcement and no helicopters at all (My grahpics are max) - i killed a single person on radio station and somehow it alerted the entire bunker (mountain radar station) - shooting machine gun vehicle somehow doesnt trigger raid? - my taiga knife is inside my body (unequipped) - players character start tweaking so hard and so do bots if you bad framerates/public server lag) - your screen start non-stop flickering if you turn off NVG? (Bad fps scenario too) - pvp took too much time to load - some of the sight doesnt load the target thing - some of the bots spawn on the weirdest position possible (under the water, not enterable buildings/rooms etc.) But overall i actually enjoy playing it!
They need to rework the sniper scope. It's like I prefer the old one. The new one doesn't make any sense and threw me off. It's like more worse than adding zeroing on scopes. The heli as well felt more heavier. Probably much more than Squad or Arma
Ever since Viper, every update has just been trash after trash, because the developers try to achieve something they simply can't and then when it's a total failure, they drop 100x excuses rather than owning up their mistake, and it doesn't get better when more than half of the community dick rides the devs, specially the veterans of the community who most have been around since the start, and since the game barely has new players nowadays, it's safe to say the game is probably gonna stay like this for a very long time until the developers actually start putting in the work.
For a full revamp of the game it launched.extremely smoothly considering that playtesting your game on roblox is practicaly impossible to do well. All the hate brings me back the the whole ordeal with the resurgamce launch and how much worse it was its nit even comperable. Almost every issue this update came out is smaller than what resurgance patches brought but instead of getting 1 small feature we got overall improvements all around from pvp becomeing playable to better preformance whit better graphics and so much more QOL at the price of a 2 month period of patches and small content updates the hate is acc unjustified as hell

alot time when i play pvp zoomer or scope just deletes on all of loudet its also brokes switching to side sight its annoying like u can only hipfire ur main (edit: yeahhh that was im talking about to myself recoil just got worse on auto firing and now i cant even know accurate recoil + i fell like hipfire just VERY lower accuary so irl too the gun just shoot all to way to right almost point blank?)
@@Dawsons_Stuff while i find the bugs annoying and the enemy pathfinding to be jank at times, i find that many of the design choices are much more deliberate and synergize well with the new teamwork-oriented direction gen4 is taking.
new heli control system is sh, bad gun purchase also, bad ranking sort and point, the point wasnt a real deal but the player sorting, im a 5stars 300kexp and now lv52, i have to play with lv2, 3, 4 or sometime even player that first time play the game
Also, playing on mobile is so bad. When you walk, the chat opens every time, which they could fix by simply moving the chat button to the top of the screen. The render distance is so bad; you can't even see where you get shot from, and the sensitivity is so horrible you need to swipe five times to turn halfway. The driving sensitivity is so bad that when you move your finger 1 mm, your car turns at max speed, and helicopters don't even work. The probably worst thing, though, is that you can't equip any movable accessories/attachments. Like, not even scopes that you can move around, or accessories on your avatar that you can move.
Nah this update destroyed customization, i had a Russian EMR Outfit, now you just can't do it, there isn't even the Russian vest anymore, Now you can't make any black outfits properly, in my opinion gen 3 was way better.
NOT TO MENTION the fact that unless you have a 5K magnification scope,you can't stealth cuz theses guys have 50/10 Vision bro,they see your helmelt for 0,25 secs 150 meters away and they know a single enemy has come to solo them all then they aggro you... now soloing and stealthing has become something that is quite IMPOSSIBLE unless you have the Hecate II or the ultima to kill them from across the map ;-; AND the satisfying headshot sound + small red cross has now disappeared, kills just aren't the same anymore ;C

Playing on private servers for me is kinda hard to do because the game occasionally makes my character/first person mode invisible and the weapons dont even work (except for melee when only first person invisibility issue), enemies ignore me and i do reappear but for a split second. The only way to fix it that is by resetting. Also, the issue with disabling NVG giving the screen a seizure when you have low fps is very highly annoying
Hard to fathom that this state of the game made it into the live build, the devs are incomprehensibly superficial and its just scary that this was able to unfold the way it did. Even if you ignore the very relevant bugs the game still has a huge amount of bad decisions in nearly every aspect to the point where its easier to list the small amount of good things: - inventory/mag/trunk/armory system is a great step in the right direction however its still very barebones (in other words not even a finished feature) - current gun system is a better platform, still needs tweaking - new vehicle/flight system is an excellent change with the helis still needing some minor tweaking - voip/radio is probably the highlight of the whole update (besides trunks), which is kinda sad considering it isnt a hard thing to implement - the whole movement inertia system is very good - new system for optics is nice - bipod feature is good, a bit finicky tho - lockpicking - vehicle purchase menu - skippable intro 14 months... mind you these are the only good things I could think of, unsure if I missed something
@@Dawsons_Stuff its actually insanely stressful to land, trying to get it to hover properly and not sway or keep moving due to "inertia". even if i do a cobra maneuver in a blackhawk itll still find a way to move.
To be honest if you relase a update and the update makes the gameplay s*ht, then still work on that. Otherwise you get a lot of hate and saying (Devs):"we dont relase buggy gameplay". This update change bhm5 for me and i hope they dont do the mistake again by droppong a -10/10 update at first. AND PLEASE AD THE A-10 BACK
I will say though, they did put cosemetics over everything, not tryna say the gameplay is bad, just very underwhelming. Cosemetics are good when you understand them
The only problem I have is the damn bug with the NPCs putting them under ground and inside of walls. Makes clearing so much harder than it needs to be. Sometimes impossible too.
Next day after release I went to Fort to see what they did to it, I arrived and when they started to shoot at me my ping went up to 8,000. Don't even say "It's your internet" because after that I was playing Ghost Recon online with no lag.
Im fine with the game and all but my main issue is optimization, because even though im on a good laptop just burst firing a weapon just makes my gameplay freeze and this is so annoying in pvp so after claming it can support mobile which is insane since my literal laptop is freezing and this game, and now you have to open up a action menu just to do something rather than clicking a keybind is really annoying and overall its just not fun anymore.
@pavlo5551 I just bought two weapons and neither of them lets me put optical sights on them, for example the mk17 doesn't even let me aim, I can't buy the sight, I don't know why.
I personally think this update will be a benefit in the long run, but yeah it needs more bugfixes BADLY. AI is super glitchy and overkill, and having to use bugs to fight other bugs (prone-glitching to kill enemies in walls) isn't good. I can bet that the next month or two will just be fixes and re-adding old stuff. Nothing much else we can do besides wait and make bugs known. (Though I still think calling it the worst update ain't it. resurgence launch was more awful than this. It's still a mess, but Resurgence was "sending threats to gnar" levels of bad.)
the enemy is still dumb as sub brick, no more npc mission, we now only have 3 vest and many lost Cosmetics, still one open world map, no more 25v25, the car is still feel shit to drive, the helicopter control is now a mess, a lot of attachments is still missing, the game is even more laggy, the new recoil stat is a joke, and the when the heck the (coming soon) gonna come?
the removed cosmetics and attachments are gonna be added back just wait bru😭 iirc one of the devs (panzer) said that 25v25 didnt even have a point cause it was such a small amount of people playing it compared to the other modes
the a10 doesnt fit the game. its an INFANTRY FOCUSED shooter, having the a10 meant people could get the wrong idea, the a10 also was very dumb design wise in all ways
I think you might be playing on older servers, cuz I don’t see many problems shown here But the enemies glitching in the wall is a BAD problem Also literal tanks of enemies

I mean all you’re looking at is laggy servers. It’s weird that you’re blaming ROBLOX issues on the developers, for example my OW servers work just fine now.. they revamped the entire game and you’re surprised there’s unfinished content / bugs when this is totally normal for such a big overhaul. The game is more fun now and actually enjoyable

@@squeemcgee1086 theres multiple ways to tackle the performance issue, but here’s a simple one: split the map up into 3 different regions. bunker would need a rework on how its done but splitting up the map would allow the devs to keep the current NPC count and barely change the map alternatively, the easiest way would be having a less detailed environment. ronograd city is notoriously laggy due to its overdetailed environment that barely affects gameplay also the game is pretty easy considering the AI breaks most of the time and doesn’t shoot back (which you would know if you watched the video)
People is just afaird of changes. When something changed, they quickly point out its flaws because what changed is no longer the same. No longer what they used to be. And the bugs that are there is not that game breaking one(unless you're talking about enemy spawning in the walls, that one just suck.), can just be patch out. Networking still suck cause it is "Roblox". But the overall gameplay has improved a lot from previous operation.

14 months yet couldn’t find half the bugs in this video is shocking 10 minutes of gameplay and it would’ve been easy to find these people have a right to criticize an update if it made the game unplayable and more buggy

At least it was better than Resurgence 🔥🔥 But honestly after a few days worth of bux fixes the game is in a state that is playable and (personally) fun. However AI getting stuck inside of buildings or terrain is also very annoying, and there also seems to be no monetary rewards for capturing outposts, which seems quite silly. Aswell as a lot of missing content so its far from perfect. Overall I wouldnt say the update was bad, but I will admit I was dissapointed at first. Although I think the fact that they fixed the really bad bugs quite fast made it a lot better. And hopefully they’ll release most of the missing content by mid-december as they promised. Also the UI probably couldve been simpler. tldr: i fw the update but its not perfect Edit: forgot to mention that the devs did not do the right thing by hyping this update up in the way they did with the whole “we’re taking as long as we need to complete the update! we’re not releasing it until its 100% ready!” so obviously everyone expected a completed update and not what we got. They could’ve just said “the update wont have some content for a few weeks after the update drops” during their announcement or something idk

BRM5 players when there's 15k to 5k players playing the game all at once and they expect the game to work as smoothly as the DEV TEST PLACE that had like 50 players (devs and QA testers) at most: going freaking insane over waiting a week Reading is such a hard skill to find in ourselves these days, and so is patience. Gen 4 has too many upgrades over Gen 3 to make a week of bug fixing tragic, crazy how y'all judge only on the negatives (like the playercount dropping from 15k to 5k) while bug free peak Gen 3 Operation Resurgence had 1.5k players at best. I really wonder where the 3.5k players on weekdays come from, huh. On weekends, 10k players log in to check the new bug fixes and experience the game as it gets better and more playable with every update. Truly crazy.

Counterpoints: 1st, does Fisch have real time generated AI (which has been proved to be a big cause and that's the reason why the devs made some braindead, to limit the amount of calculations at once) and 5 years of data in its servers loaded for all 15k people? Tell me. 2nd, about the playtest, it is an estimate of the maximum of people that could have participated in potential playtests. I have no confirmation that they had playtests but watch the Tech Demos again and tell me if it is laggy or if there are ground breaking bugs. From the gameplay we saw pre-release, the game was polished and smooth because the devs had done all they could, not like if transfering an entirely NEW code and a whole array of new assets while keeping player data safe would cause problems. 3rd, more breaching mechanics in gen 2? (Why would they add that if nobody ever used it) For the removal of this useless feature we got pick locking, enemy behavior like running to cover, proning, mounting weapons to defend, mortars, enemy helicopters dropping troops, sliding, character directionnal movement when proning, bipod mounting, customization of EVERY single component of each weapon and gear to be added onto in the future, nvg focus, ability to choose IR/visible light flashlights and lasers in the radial menu, compound objectives, etc... Most guns aren't ingame? Almost all guns are ingame wdym? Attachments? Oh well, there's asset transfering from gen 3 to gen 4, i really wonder how could this mess things up. I really wonder how the new code made from scratch + roblox uploading issues can cause asset transfering problems. And customization? Learn the customization menu. The missing gear, why would devs responsible for coding wait for modelers to finish modeling and texturing all the gear while they do nothing whereas they can release the update and they'd fix all bugs found after release while modelers do their thing? That's what they did and for the better. I am sorry to say it again and sorry to have this conversation but you are not giving criticism, you are showing issues currently being fixed and then say in the comments that the devs did nothing right. here we go again: - 5 years of data that got wiped fresh and turned into simple stats. also not all 15k players were old players, there were a LOT of new players. - not only do you not have confirmation they playtested at all, but you refer the tech demos which are SHOWCASES, NOT PLAYTESTING FOOTAGE. of course it's going to look good, they want to show the best of the game, not the slop that it is rn - lockpicking is useless when the AI can open doors that are locked, then immediately close them and locking them again. id also rather choose less overall mechanics because as shown in the video, the new mechanics are useless when the game itself is a buggy mess and doesnt function. nearly every troop mechanic you mentioned is bugged and broken in some way - mispoke, meant to say most attachments. if the main focus of the update was customizing then im surprised 14 months wasnt enough, though that can wait. again, all people wanted was a PLAYABLE game. just playable. instead, the game is still buggy as ever although things have gotten slightly better. as mentioned before, pvp is in a terrible state with prone-glitching and pve isnt much better as for criticism, look at the date the video was made on. some of these bugs werent even known (especially the helicopter dropping floating troops) hence why i made it. i hope that they are fixing it and i also said the devs never did anything right. ive even praised in other comments about the storage system but you probably didnt see that. the biggest frustration is the seemingly lack of testing because, once again, these bugs were easily found and replicated with very little time. i posted this video to show MY bad experience with the game, so im not sure why you're trying to downplay what I experienced but ok
@@Dawsons_Stuff One last one but short this time: - new player data is valid and it is true that old player data is not a big concern - When talking about tech demos, it is mainly to illustrate how lag was non existant as well as the fact that they had to import all of this into the main game hence bugs. - Bugged features, that does not reduce them to nothing as there are bug fixes ongoing. - Again, coders do bug fixes for gameplay while modelers continue doing gear, attachments and all things about customization. Please, finally understand how none of that could be discovered in a dev test place were everything was perfectly done without touching it in any way. When something was finished and tested for bugs, nothing COULD go wrong in the dev test place. Transfering all the dev test place code and assets to the main game is a first possible issue and the use of servers for both ingame math and player data stores (not old data, current data like what they own, their money and XP) is obviously a possible trouble-maker. - Finally, I do not enjoy this kind of feedback as in this video but it is obviously showing current bugs which needs to be done. I am sorry to have had to discuss here about this and please be more comprehensive, less centered around the bugs to make your judgment and make new videos when next updates come (which is a matter of a few days from now) Conclusion. (I still did a lengthy one, sorry for the yapping)

@@Dawsons_Stuff In pub servers the ai was way worse, they would glide across the map super fast be very laggy and you'd fall through most random parts of the map more often and the vehicles were way worse and you'd prolly get 1 tapped in .023124.8/7's of a millisecond after they stop lagging for half a second.

3 days ago I played on a public server raiding with other people on naval base, we're almost done clearing. I've decided to go check around the place by myself until I found like 40+ enemies (mostly are RPGs) stuck at the south of naval base. All of them are in the same spot piling up like a zombie horde, but surprisingly they are all deaf from my gunshots so I did not take any damage
ngl this made me questioned for like a whole day of how the new advanced AIs still act like the same from previous version/OP Resurgence, it's just weird
also the only thing I find funny about these AIs is that they stare at you like you owe them money, especially at close range

Guys, I think the problem is the fact that the gameload tries to make the enemies more active, unlike operation resurgencia, where the enemies walked like snails and didn't get almost any shots, and when they hit they would give a powder of life, in operation phonix they wanted to do Since it is no longer possible to abuse enemies as before, from what we can see, we will have to wait a while for them to fix this.

They removed a lot of items, the loadout settings are extremely difficult to see, the AI bots are sometimes stupid and sometimes unreasonably difficult, and they added a bunch of bugs. Honestly, I've played other games after seeing these "" update" this.

The UI for the loadout menu is so trash. Tiny little + signs are overlapping each other while your cursor is so massive for no reason. It makes clicking on what you want really difficult. Not to mention the game doesn't tell you or give any indication that attachments can extra attachments. For example, the suppressors. Day one of gen 4 almost no one knew that you could attach suppressors onto rifles because no one can see the little extra + sign that's added on at the end for a specific attachments. Lasers and Flashlights were even more confusing cause you had like 3 different extra popups that you needed to select.
Imagine the resurgence loadout menu, that sucked even harder 🤣🤣

Hitting AI is just pain
Once during solo raid to test out new stuff (bipods, gunplay etc) enemy AI was literally levitating to get on the roof, when i started aiming at the same AI it started rapidly teleporting left or right which made it impossible to shoot it from medium range (not even talking about what shitpost can happen when you are trying to fight with AI on long distance)
And also no matter in what vehicle you are you can be killed by AI with standard AK
(I got downed while being in a stryker AI just dont care)

If they had waited before releasing it, all that you would have gotten (that we didn't get in the initial launch) would have been the missing gear remodeled and reimplemented entirely while the devs responsible for coding would have been waiting for the modelers to finish some gear that can be added later WHILE the devs doing coding can idk... fix bugs due to migrating data, assets and the entire 15k players overloading the game's servers.
first comment guy here, i stand by my word. first of all, i won’t say people are hating the game just to hate, there’s defo some valid criticism to be made. however, as a dev, i’m pretty amazed at what has been able to be done and really do enjoy the game as a player. I do also feel like the ai was not as broken on release than it is now though, if not a bit OP. I’m sure the game will be fine soon enough after a major patch or two. devving is hard, i’m not asking for you not to criticize, but do so while understanding the troubles that game development has.

What no QA tests does to a game, lmao at how I expected this to happen, showcases were too smooth to be true on release
Showcases were EXACTLY too smooth to be true because the devs did their job correctly on the dev test place without knowing that this could happen. It's what happens when you have such a huge game requiring so much computing, optimised for as little players as available (the dev team ingame) explodes into 15k players at once + all the usual data and computing loading in real time. Roblox servers are not meant for this, the best they can handle is Adopt Me with 1M players but the game is so poor in code and features that it requires 1M players to arrive to BRM5 GEN4's launch state.
We never knew how good we had it in nightfall. Viper was great. Maybe the “overhaul update” should have never came. We complained, complained, looking back now.. we had it the best.
I was carrying my squad to ronograd city, but as one proton of my helicopter entered a zone which I forgot, i got sniped by a mortar.

As a huge gear and specifically night vision nerd, I loved this update. So many more night vision options and white phos!!! Optics are nicer, guns are customized better, gear setup is far more in depth. Love it way more than previous black hawk. HOWEVER….most Blackhawk players aren’t geeked out about gear and play to enjoy the game, which clearly, cannot be enjoyed in this state. Sorry guys, but I honestly can’t complain… i spend most of my time just building kit setups rather than actually playing anyway 😂

- bots has a eye of a fucking eagle and has x-ray/wall hack
- bot tryhard than the actual player? (sometime)
- while parachuting i noclip through the terrain and die
- bots wiped my squad and proceeds to ignore me and walk pass me like there's nothing around while i was crawling
- helicopter reinforcement that somehow come with reinforcement and no helicopters at all (My grahpics are max)
- i killed a single person on radio station and somehow it alerted the entire bunker (mountain radar station)
- shooting machine gun vehicle somehow doesnt trigger raid?
- my taiga knife is inside my body (unequipped)
- players character start tweaking so hard and so do bots if you bad framerates/public server lag)
- your screen start non-stop flickering if you turn off NVG? (Bad fps scenario too)
- pvp took too much time to load
- some of the sight doesnt load the target thing
- some of the bots spawn on the weirdest position possible (under the water, not enterable buildings/rooms etc.)
But overall i actually enjoy playing it!

Ever since Viper, every update has just been trash after trash, because the developers try to achieve something they simply can't and then when it's a total failure, they drop 100x excuses rather than owning up their mistake, and it doesn't get better when more than half of the community dick rides the devs, specially the veterans of the community who most have been around since the start, and since the game barely has new players nowadays, it's safe to say the game is probably gonna stay like this for a very long time until the developers actually start putting in the work.
For a full revamp of the game it launched.extremely smoothly considering that playtesting your game on roblox is practicaly impossible to do well.
All the hate brings me back the the whole ordeal with the resurgamce launch and how much worse it was its nit even comperable. Almost every issue this update came out is smaller than what resurgance patches brought but instead of getting 1 small feature we got overall improvements all around from pvp becomeing playable to better preformance whit better graphics and so much more QOL at the price of a 2 month period of patches and small content updates the hate is acc unjustified as hell

Also, playing on mobile is so bad. When you walk, the chat opens every time, which they could fix by simply moving the chat button to the top of the screen. The render distance is so bad; you can't even see where you get shot from, and the sensitivity is so horrible you need to swipe five times to turn halfway. The driving sensitivity is so bad that when you move your finger 1 mm, your car turns at max speed, and helicopters don't even work. The probably worst thing, though, is that you can't equip any movable accessories/attachments. Like, not even scopes that you can move around, or accessories on your avatar that you can move.

Playing on private servers for me is kinda hard to do because the game occasionally makes my character/first person mode invisible and the weapons dont even work (except for melee when only first person invisibility issue), enemies ignore me and i do reappear but for a split second. The only way to fix it that is by resetting. Also, the issue with disabling NVG giving the screen a seizure when you have low fps is very highly annoying
Hard to fathom that this state of the game made it into the live build, the devs are incomprehensibly superficial and its just scary that this was able to unfold the way it did. Even if you ignore the very relevant bugs the game still has a huge amount of bad decisions in nearly every aspect to the point where its easier to list the small amount of good things:
- inventory/mag/trunk/armory system is a great step in the right direction however its still very barebones (in other words not even a finished feature)
- current gun system is a better platform, still needs tweaking
- new vehicle/flight system is an excellent change with the helis still needing some minor tweaking
- voip/radio is probably the highlight of the whole update (besides trunks), which is kinda sad considering it isnt a hard thing to implement
- the whole movement inertia system is very good
- new system for optics is nice
- bipod feature is good, a bit finicky tho
- lockpicking
- vehicle purchase menu
- skippable intro

The enemy have aimbots, heli controls are bad and the customisation optiona are cut in half (also harder to customize than ever)
The only problem I have is the damn bug with the NPCs putting them under ground and inside of walls. Makes clearing so much harder than it needs to be. Sometimes impossible too.
Gen3 is actually laggier than Gen4, I don't know why people are complaining about the lag lol

Next day after release I went to Fort to see what they did to it, I arrived and when they started to shoot at me my ping went up to 8,000. Don't even say "It's your internet" because after that I was playing Ghost Recon online with no lag.
Im fine with the game and all but my main issue is optimization, because even though im on a good laptop just burst firing a weapon just makes my gameplay freeze and this is so annoying in pvp so after claming it can support mobile which is insane since my literal laptop is freezing and this game, and now you have to open up a action menu just to do something rather than clicking a keybind is really annoying and overall its just not fun anymore.
Does anyone know how to remove the extra weapons from the phone? I can't put the sights on almost any weapon.

@pavlo5551 I just bought two weapons and neither of them lets me put optical sights on them, for example the mk17 doesn't even let me aim, I can't buy the sight, I don't know why.

I personally think this update will be a benefit in the long run, but yeah it needs more bugfixes BADLY. AI is super glitchy and overkill, and having to use bugs to fight other bugs (prone-glitching to kill enemies in walls) isn't good.
I can bet that the next month or two will just be fixes and re-adding old stuff. Nothing much else we can do besides wait and make bugs known.
(Though I still think calling it the worst update ain't it. resurgence launch was more awful than this. It's still a mess, but Resurgence was "sending threats to gnar" levels of bad.)

It’s weird that you’re blaming ROBLOX issues on the developers, for example my OW servers work just fine now.. they revamped the entire game and you’re surprised there’s unfinished content / bugs when this is totally normal for such a big overhaul. The game is more fun now and actually enjoyable

@@squeemcgee1086 theres multiple ways to tackle the performance issue, but here’s a simple one:
split the map up into 3 different regions. bunker would need a rework on how its done but splitting up the map would allow the devs to keep the current NPC count and barely change the map
alternatively, the easiest way would be having a less detailed environment. ronograd city is notoriously laggy due to its overdetailed environment that barely affects gameplay
also the game is pretty easy considering the AI breaks most of the time and doesn’t shoot back (which you would know if you watched the video)
People is just afaird of changes. When something changed, they quickly point out its flaws because what changed is no longer the same. No longer what they used to be. And the bugs that are there is not that game breaking one(unless you're talking about enemy spawning in the walls, that one just suck.), can just be patch out. Networking still suck cause it is "Roblox". But the overall gameplay has improved a lot from previous operation.

But honestly after a few days worth of bux fixes the game is in a state that is playable and (personally) fun. However AI getting stuck inside of buildings or terrain is also very annoying, and there also seems to be no monetary rewards for capturing outposts, which seems quite silly. Aswell as a lot of missing content so its far from perfect.
Overall I wouldnt say the update was bad, but I will admit I was dissapointed at first. Although I think the fact that they fixed the really bad bugs quite fast made it a lot better. And hopefully they’ll release most of the missing content by mid-december as they promised. Also the UI probably couldve been simpler.

BRM5 players when there's 15k to 5k players playing the game all at once and they expect the game to work as smoothly as the DEV TEST PLACE that had like 50 players (devs and QA testers) at most: going freaking insane over waiting a week
Reading is such a hard skill to find in ourselves these days, and so is patience.
Gen 4 has too many upgrades over Gen 3 to make a week of bug fixing tragic, crazy how y'all judge only on the negatives (like the playercount dropping from 15k to 5k) while bug free peak Gen 3 Operation Resurgence had 1.5k players at best. I really wonder where the 3.5k players on weekdays come from, huh. On weekends, 10k players log in to check the new bug fixes and experience the game as it gets better and more playable with every update.

players waited 14 MONTHS for a game with 4 years of existing for an update, the bar was incredibly low set at “just make it playable” and that was failed at launch
multiple bugs couldve and shouldve been found within playtests, but went unnoticed during that time period
even after the current bug fixes servers are still laggy, the AI breaks at times, and overall the pve experience is decent at best
pvp is completely screwed, because people can prone-glitch to see other players through walls
as for the “upgrades” in gen4, there were more door breaching options in gen2 which was 5 YEARS ago, the customization is somehow worse than the previous one (and isnt even finished), most of the guns arent in the game and there isnt even cutscenes for the bunker

@Dawsons_Stuff criticism is a thing, not recognising the devs' hard work for 14 months being undone by something outside of their capabilities then blaming them is something else.
Counterpoints:
1st, does Fisch have real time generated AI (which has been proved to be a big cause and that's the reason why the devs made some braindead, to limit the amount of calculations at once) and 5 years of data in its servers loaded for all 15k people? Tell me.
2nd, about the playtest, it is an estimate of the maximum of people that could have participated in potential playtests. I have no confirmation that they had playtests but watch the Tech Demos again and tell me if it is laggy or if there are ground breaking bugs. From the gameplay we saw pre-release, the game was polished and smooth because the devs had done all they could, not like if transfering an entirely NEW code and a whole array of new assets while keeping player data safe would cause problems.
3rd, more breaching mechanics in gen 2? What? Opening the door slightly? And that's called "more" features? (Why would they add that if nobody ever used it) For the removal of this useless feature we got pick locking, enemy behavior like running to cover, proning, mounting weapons to defend, mortars, enemy helicopters dropping troops, sliding, character directionnal movement when proning, bipod mounting, customization of EVERY single component of each weapon and gear to be added onto in the future, nvg focus, ability to choose IR/visible light flashlights and lasers in the radial menu, compound objectives, etc...
Most guns aren't ingame? Almost all guns are ingame wdym? Attachments? Oh well, there's asset transfering from gen 3 to gen 4, i really wonder how could this mess things up. I really wonder how the new code made from scratch + roblox uploading issues can cause asset transfering problems.
And customization? Learn the customization menu. The missing gear, why would devs responsible for coding wait for modelers to finish modeling and texturing all the gear while they do nothing whereas they can release the update and they'd fix all bugs found after release while modelers do their thing? That's what they did and for the better.
I am sorry to say it again and sorry to have this conversation but you are not giving criticism, you are showing issues currently being fixed and then say in the comments that the devs did nothing right. I am truly sorry for having to say this.
here we go again:
- 5 years of data that got wiped fresh and turned into simple stats. also not all 15k players were old players, there were a LOT of new players.
- not only do you not have confirmation they playtested at all, but you refer the tech demos which are SHOWCASES, NOT PLAYTESTING FOOTAGE. of course it's going to look good, they want to show the best of the game, not the slop that it is rn
- lockpicking is useless when the AI can open doors that are locked, then immediately close them and locking them again. id also rather choose less overall mechanics because as shown in the video, the new mechanics are useless when the game itself is a buggy mess and doesnt function. nearly every troop mechanic you mentioned is bugged and broken in some way
- mispoke, meant to say most attachments. if the main focus of the update was customizing then im surprised 14 months wasnt enough, though that can wait. again, all people wanted was a PLAYABLE game. just playable. instead, the game is still buggy as ever although things have gotten slightly better. as mentioned before, pvp is in a terrible state with prone-glitching and pve isnt much better
as for criticism, look at the date the video was made on. some of these bugs werent even known (especially the helicopter dropping floating troops) hence why i made it. i hope that they are fixing it and i also said the devs never did anything right. ive even praised in other comments about the storage system but you probably didnt see that. the biggest frustration is the seemingly lack of testing because, once again, these bugs were easily found and replicated with very little time. i posted this video to show MY bad experience with the game, so im not sure why you're trying to downplay what I experienced but ok

- new player data is valid and it is true that old player data is not a big concern
- When talking about tech demos, it is mainly to illustrate how lag was non existant as well as the fact that they had to import all of this into the main game hence bugs.
- Bugged features, that does not reduce them to nothing as there are bug fixes ongoing.
- Again, coders do bug fixes for gameplay while modelers continue doing gear, attachments and all things about customization. Please, finally understand how none of that could be discovered in a dev test place were everything was perfectly done without touching it in any way. When something was finished and tested for bugs, nothing COULD go wrong in the dev test place. Transfering all the dev test place code and assets to the main game is a first possible issue and the use of servers for both ingame math and player data stores (not old data, current data like what they own, their money and XP) is obviously a possible trouble-maker.
- Finally, I do not enjoy this kind of feedback as in this video but it is obviously showing current bugs which needs to be done. I am sorry to have had to discuss here about this and please be more comprehensive, less centered around the bugs to make your judgment and make new videos when next updates come (which is a matter of a few days from now)
