Hi , i live in lakeland fl. Being you know about owning buffs here in fl. I was wondering what you can tell me about helping them survive here in such high temp. Extrems? Thank you

Well, we do have buffs and they so far ha e been able to tolerate the heat. Their coop has wire mesh on both sides to allow impair to flow through. Their coop also has partial shade throughout the day. They can also get under their coop for shade during the summer. I was even contemplating adding a solar fan for their coop to assist in keeping them cooler. With all that, they've survived quite well during the heat of this past year and I am very please with that. Hope this is some help. Thanks for subscribing.

@floridalife5342 I have done a ton of research and educated myself as much as possible before getting a few buffs in March. It's great having people who have the experience of raising chickens. Also, my wife and I go to the smokies about every summer. I enjoy your videos to Cades Cove and the surrounding areas. Thanks
