Bad Boy lyricist explained that Studio Choom has always given their artists of the month the opportunity to choose between an original song or a cover and so far Sung Hanbin is the only one who has chosen an original song. You are right, Hanbin is an incredible performer. Spella, Bada and his dancer friends helped him with this performance and it was incredible, to be in a group Hanbin adapts his abilities to others that's why these types of opportunities are incredible because we can see a 2.0 version of his skills. See... you can see the clear difference between a professional dancer who specializes in tuting who happened to become a kpop idol vs a kpop idol who has learned tutting for their choreo like they wouldn't be able to do it with the ease that Hanbin does. He is such a phenomenal dancer and I want it showcased more than it is.
I find it kind of hilarious how in everyday life Hanbin is so soft and gentle, ever the patient teacher and perfect idol, but when he has a choice in the creative direction of his performances he often goes in a more dark, grimy direction. Its just a delightful contrast, i love it.
This was so brilliant putting the tape on his fingers and arms so you can really experience the dynamics of has hand choreography. He is wild and so exciting to watch. Thanks Micah!!
i’m so happy studio choom is doing artist of the month again. i used to watch them all the time in 2020/2021. i like that the idols get a lot of creative freedom through this experience it’s always fun to watch.
Me too although I would like the stage to evolve in some way because it feels like I'm watching old performances sometimes. Whether they do something new with the lighting or camera quality or something it would be amazing.
@@Koko3op Tbh the only thing that would drastically improve this would be new staging instead of a plain backdrop. Compared to the artist of the year videos of 2021/2022 the camera quality and direction has evolved drastically

But seriously, I'm so glad Hanbin had the chance to perform on AOTM, since his debut he didn't yet had the chance to really showcase his dancing with a full solo performance. I mean, I don't know if it often happens that a main dancer ends up on Lee Mujin before having any kind of solo dance 😅
I'm also glad he recorded his original song for it, to be honest it's not really a song that I would just listen to, but it's not made for it either so I like it in the context of the dance. And I like the first "verse", the more vocal part, there is some lines that are just right there where I want to hear Hanbin voice more so I'm still taking it.
And for the dancing, there is not much I can say more except I already rewatched it so many times and I'm probably going to watch it a lot more, and you talked about his facial expressions but it's one thing that amaze me everytime with Hanbin, like especially during the tutting part, it's so complex and fast, so many movements but he's still serving so much with his face, like it shows how the dancing is natural and "easy" for him to be able to also focus as much on everything else, he's amazing !
Overall we have been spoiled with Hanbin performances in the last few days, between this one and the two special performances for Mnet; and now I have your reaction, that was an amazing week-end ! Thank you and I hope your have an amazing day/evening :D

Watching Sung Hanbin's performance, I feel that he's always improving and raising the bar higher, I really like his dancing style, he's always neat and smooth in every movement, and his tutting skills are so amazing

maybe i'm biased but this is my favorite AOTM after The Boyz's Juyeon. i feel like i prefer when the idols show their artistry and specialties rather than just perform really well a choreo made for them
also him getting speed up allegations is SOO funny like these people obviously know nothing about tutting
