it's so wild how in japan they will sell out stadiums and have MASSIVE shows with cutting edge tech, they were supposed to play the 2020 olympics opening ceremony before covid hit, and when they do world tours it's in such small intimate venues like this...the comments in japanese here are all talking about how close the audience is and how jealous they are lol really hoping they come back to the usa soon cuz i've never seen them live

ItsMeMark I am such a moron. I went to the show in New York where there were thousands of people and I had to wait outside in the freezing cold for over 10 fucking hours just to get a semi-decent view. I should have gone to this instead.
loroimperial To be fair unless you had a $900 badge or lined up five hours early, you weren't getting in lol. (Luckily I had a badge and actually had a better view but they moved some stuff around and I had to find another perspective. This was the best I could get to. I should have pushed in further.)
ItsMeMark Wow I just saw your "Chocolate Disco" video and you were much closer on that one?! Or was just the zoom? Yeah, I had that feeling too after the New York show..I should have pushed further. But then I remember that I managed to squeeze past a huge number of people who were there before me, so in reality I was closer than I deserved to. But still, I would pay a couple of fingers from my left hand in order to be at the very very very front and make eye contact with them, lol
loroimperial "Zoom". The first ones were taken with a wide at 24mm so I could get the whole stage and have less camera shake. Later I switched to a 55mm which seems closer but is more accurate to "how close they really were". I was only really 5-7 rows back. I shoot with prime lenses only though so the swap happens between songs. Zooms kill image quality.

Henry Kim No external microphone. Shortfalls of this are evident in my Crayon Pop videos if you want to see the limits of the built-in mic.
