You can also close the game right at the moment you die,try close it before REVIVE comes up but just as is does should be fine too,make sure you close the window then reopen the app you should be where you traveled too and still have what you had as you died,hope this helps.

Nah maye it worked for me on season 18 (8 months ago) when i forgot to pick up my first aid kid and gun and armor then the raider killed me and lose my tactical backpack then to this it worked they said they fixed this in season 21 or 20 then i raided a base and got one hit by big one then do this it doesn't work anymore i lost around 12 glocks and 3 ak why do they have to remove it it doesn't ruin the game.
This worked a year ago. I did it before when I died with my Tactical Backpack. It's now patched. I don't know when it started, but this doesnt work anymore.
I believe this happens because Google play haven't saved ur data because u haven't responded. So this mean u just time travel back before u died which is also the last thing Google have save for u

That's a ton of work for a few items plus if you cant recover your game you just lost everything instead of a few guns. Too risky and by now it's probably been fixed. Losing items sucks but its part of the game. Take away the risk the game gets less fun but I still think it's a bigger risk to clear the data
I got the gun, and then got surrounded by zombies just after, shut my game down in anger, later opened it up and I was in world map...very much in hold of my VIP loot🤣

Much easier way. 1st don’t click revive, 2nd exit the game, 3rd off the wifi and turn on airplane mode for 10 seconds, 4th turn on wifi and turn of airplane mode, 5th go back to game. Still works 2021

There is a quicker way. If you have 2 devices and die for example on your phone, Don't click revive, close the app and open your account on your Pc it will Put you back at the last moment you went to the map

Sometimes if you die just click off the app ASAP and then log in and you’ll be in the same location with all you stuff. But as soon as you die you have to log out the app ASAP. Works best with iPhone I would think because of easy access. IF NOT then have your game on 2 devices, if you die log out ASAP and go to your other device and it will wake you where you were at

It literally still works, I just did it like 5 mins ago. It's been so long since I needed to do it I forgot how and had to look it up but it works.
