This is beautiful. I believe praising God in heaven won't be boring. We're only rehearsing here what we'll do in heaven... well done SDA Choir!
I WAS A SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST AND GOD CALLED ME TO BE A PROPHET IN UGANDA AS A BORN AGAIN. I HAVE NEVER HATED THE SEVENTH DAY CHURCH BUT I HAVE NEVER THOUGHT OF GOING BACK TO SDA BUT THIS CHOIRE IS A SPECIAL THING. I BELIEVE IN THEM. I HAVE A CHURCH WITH 1500 PEOPLE IN IT AND IT GROWS DAILY BUT THIS CHOIRE IS ALWAYS WELLCOME MAY BE THEY CAN EVEN PREACH TO ME AGAIN. AND I THINK UGANDA IS PRIMITIVE I COUD HAVE NOT LEFT SDA BBUT THID CHOIRE ...
I am so sorry that this praise brings you tears. I was raised an Adventist, but now I am a happy worshiper at God's feet with no church telling me how I should or can or do praise my Abba. Cast away your fears of His displeasure, young sister. Come to Him and find Him waiting, and all your questions answered. Amen, so let it be.

we must all praise GOD with our hearts and soul and only he can see and judge. our praise gives others an example of how we show our love towards our creator. we must show by example. what ever our best is. we cant use what the "world" uses to measure what is good music.

I love when Alan steps into the choir on that OH Magnify the Lord part!!!!! one of our greatest hits! ahahaha smile. But really I think we did an outstanding job doing what we do Praising God!! and singing our hearts out!!!!!!
When will you guys realize that Riverside has the best of the best of the best musicians singers guitar players bass players drum players everything!!!! We're literally the cultural Gem of country living of course is going to be the best music out of that come on

As for the critics down there below me...If you have gone to heaven and heard how they do it up there come and hollow at me until then you need to pray for them that the Holy Spirit be their guide and yours to... Alan sung with you with "another peace" with joseph... I know you and your wife are trying to keep your temples clean and ready for the Lord's return ... Be encourage your brother in Christ ... Great job and my cousin Ricky is still steaming about the end result in terms of not winning the competition! However, souls were won that night and that's the only thing that matters!

@grmjia thank you so much. yes it is about touching souls and if we did that then we did what we are called to do. Praise God for you and others who see our choir as a soul winning instrument. We ask God to bless us to do His will by way of song and praise. And he keeps on blessing us!
Do not understand the negativity about this performance! WONDERFUL! We should strive to learn to appreciate all kinds of praise in song! Not just what is more prevalent in one denomination or another
@lbmusicman1 There are many black congregations Adventists in the United States who is cheerful and lively worship. The problem is the white churches of the Adventists.
@ leelee1947...you r absolutely right!...absolutely blessed and proud of Mt Rubidoux SDA choir...keep praising the Lord and represent for SDA churches that have your excitement and love for the Lord Jesus Christ...(JESUS IS ALIVE!!)...their are few Mt. Rubidoux's...wish i lived in Cali.

I don't see anything wrong with the way they are praising the Lord. If you read you bible it say to praise him with in dancing, symbols and with the trumpets let everything that has breath praise the lord. I think we as co call christian we are very judgemental and we need to watch that if we want to see Jesus one day
turn up the sopranos and turn down the men and tune the instruments and you will be good no judgment
they are indeed SDA, their church is in California.
What does Marvin Sapp know about SDAs? lol We have a diversity of sound..We can do anthems, gospel, praise and worship!! He needs to get out more!
@leelee1947 Depends on where you're from. I noticed out here in So-Cal, our SDA churches aren't boring. However, the east coast SDA churches I've been to, are somewhat, "Boring". Whatever that's supposed to mean.
@applediva106 i disagree, I am SDA and most SDA churches are boring! they represented well and I'm glad they did, most SDAs don't give true praise and worship!

I'm always amazed at people who watch a whole video---then complain about how it's horrible, ungodly and unacceptable to God. Let these people praise God according to the dictates of "their" conscience---not yours, oh ye hypocrites! What word hath God given thee that thou shouldest speak for Him? If you don't enjoy this music, here's an idea: get off RUclips and tune in to something more to your liking. Heaven shall have no complainers therein--the book of Truth 1:1.

Even the handicapped would love to sing praises to the Lord, jumping, clapping, shouting in joy...
Well done choir, I'm proud to be a Seventh Day Adventist, when I see this choir sings it make me shout for joy in the Lord. Now what does a competition has to do with how the SDA church worship on God's Holy Day. True SDA Christian doesn't go to church to be entertain by their choir, we go to church to worship, glorified and to give thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ. However the choir or the congregation sings in the S DA church it is not to entertain us, but to praise God. Those of you that call yourself a SDA and found that the church is boring, why don't you leave and joined the entertaining churches. SDA church are a peculiar church. That is why we can be identified in the world as the bible says. Come out of her my people. God call us out of the world and out of the charismatic churches that are all alike. Thank God for the SDA church we are a peculiar church that some say are boring, praise the Lord we can be identified as a peculiar people around the world. We are not a church that entertain each other, we fellowship with one another on the Sabbath Day. When you step into a church it should be to glorified God and not for your entertainment. Go to the theater or somewhere else, but not in the church. Thank you Lord for this choir some didn't get the message all they got was the entertainment, and thank you for the SDA Curch.

The ignorance that I see in these comments. What is wrong with this choir and what their doing ? Is there a set way to worship? Is there a rule that says Seventh Day Adventist can't mix with other domination or sing in contest. Let thou with no sin cast the first stone .

in the old testament their are diversity of praise that the children of isreal use to worship yahweh this type of praise is known as the shabak praise

creo que esa opinion de que la iglesia adventista en fome en algunos lados, no corresponde hermano si ud esta llendo donde este mas motivada la cosa creo que entonces no va por Dios con mucha humildad lo digo. a mi me importa mas la palabra que tener miles de coros que marquen lo mismo que las demas iglesias. me sentiria mas orgulloso el dia en que nos reconoscan denuevo como la iglesia de la biblia ;) aunque no digo que el coro es malo es bien bueno pero no nos centremos solo en esto
