@@justinrensel8518 Eh, he has been doing the bass and drums thing for a long time now. I think he very much enjoys it actually, especially since with his solo project, fOUR
My roommate piped up listening to this, "The drummer must be pissed that that keyboard player is practising while he's trying to solo." Fuck. Hahahahaha.
This show was on September 23, 2018. They opened for Donny McCaslin. They have a new album coming out in October too. Details are on their site and in the description of the video! Thanks for watching!
They formed in Los Angeles in 2001. They will also perform at Seattle’s Earshot Jazz Festival on October 9 and at The Jack London Revue In Portland, OR October 10. If you have a chance to see them don’t miss it!
Weather Report.. Yellow Jackets.. on steroids (just not as inventive)..it just goes on and on (but nothing catches me)..they r in town tonight so I'm trying to decide whether 2 go. There is a clarinetist with a trio that sounds more interesting for 2 night.. no abuse please..
@Tiktaalik ..and one of those unfortunate people who cannot comfortably deal with a different opinion, but definitely needs to get in touch with their anger. Allow me to have my own opininon. I may be wrong (about this group), but you need to take your pills sir. Stay healthy out there (in the jungle?).. P.s. I don't know any repubs who would cite Weather Report or Yellowjackets.
I'm glad to see nate wood AND a bassist
Kaveh Rastegar
Agree. As impressive as it is that he can fill both roles, it's probably a major pain in the ass to do so.
