No kidding!! I’d love to see that crazy Greenwood C3 with the huge flairs out on the street! Too cool. I was laughing and giggling the whole time. Can’t imagine what the guys on the bikes were thinking when that hell dog of a car, came roaring by, driven by a total babe! The sound is incredible! Must have blown their minds. I totally enjoy all of your videos that you post on RUclips. But, like a lot of people do when they’re making these RUclips videos, they don’t actually tell us fans who are so interested in your videos where the person’s shop is so we can possibly do business with them?

Nicole? I'm 71 and would immediately put the beans to that Nova. After watching all your videos, just know, you have a beautiful heart. Your joy is brilliant. The owners are a wide spectrum of ages from my age to family guys. It is just wonderful. So... 50s throu 2000s, I've thrilled to drive flat out when safe...ish to do so. Grace... grace! This was perfect. Good on both of you for doing what you love!
This is not my type of car and yet, Nicole makes it so great that I desperately want one now. It just seems so... fun! The high reving nature, the noise, the effort... it's just so raw and alive. I love it. This is quite simply the best automotive content on RUclips. A lot of other RUclips creators could learn a lot from Nicole and her crew.
I drove at cajon Speedway in El cajon California ,in the early 90's to mid 90's, now 67 years old dam near teard up. Because of this show and I could still get in c-pit and drive today. Good show peps.
I can hear Black Sunshine by White Zombie in my head during those hood shots. Lance is doing the Lord’s work keeping these old race cars going. Another great episode.
The nova caught me off guard here. Sure brought back a lot of memories as a kid going to some Winston west races and other super stock tracks back in the mid 70’s. My dad used to be in that class and the nova being untouched is exactly how I remember them. The smell of fuel and brakes in the pits is almost there. Crazy good episode
How awesome was that ! I used to have an M22 in my malibu.. used to love the whine.. the nova sounds mean and you drove it like a boss !! Thanks for sharing
I like the production values, I like the car, I like the host, and I really like it when a new video comes out. Happy people have so much more to give to the world. I value that.
ooh looks fun, u have the greatest show and fun! he is living the life. my hero; no one wants to work with some of the old stuff any more. got me leaning forward in my seat watching you drive that beastmode lol
And I thought I have a lot f parts and pieces sitting in my garage - very well knowing that I will never ever grow old enough to use them. But this is incredible! I am truely stunned! Thanks Nicole for this insight! Love it!
When my dad passed away he had two dirt late model chassis, two modifieds one A mod and one B mod, three Super stock chassis (four if you count the car I used to race) probably ten Chevy big blocks and half a dozen Ford Cleveland engines (he had a thing for canted valves) another half dozen SBC engines, a ton of NASCAR cranks, cams, heads, valves and filters from the auctions he would haunt. At least four dry sump systems Three C3 Corvettes, two Porsche 944s, some weird little kit car with a SBC in the back. Plus two 53' trailers as well as a couple of regular race trailers full of more racing stuff. Quick change axles, control arms, springs etc. It was a long process cleaning it all up and selling most of it. 50+ years of racing memories in that house.

It was fun working with Dudley at the Madera Speedway. It was Great to see his car run. He was a great engine builder. Met him when I was 18 and I am 71 now.
Hi Nicole, Another amazing video. You could spend a lifetime wondering around his shop. Wow! So much to see and to learn about. So cool! I mentioned before, I can’t drive. But, I could spend countless hours listening, learning and looking around a place like his. Just amazing. Thanks so much for doing what you do! Sharing this kind of content just makes me happy. Thank you!
That brought back a lot of memories, my first race car was a 72 Chevelle, converted to a dirt circle track race car. Drove it on the taxi strips at the airport I was running and it was a rocket. But it still had the 5:29 rear gears.
I'm watching this and it brings back memories of when I worked on race cars like this, along with winged sprint cars. We ran oval tracks, anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 mile. Nicole, you need to grab your racesuit and do some laps on a paved track. I guarantee a rush that will last a lifetime. I still love the sound of a healthy small block Chevy like that. Thank you Nicole and Lance for the nostalgia. You need to explore more of the treasures Lance has

I always love watching every episode that you make and am always happy when a new episode is posted. You're a great host, the production of your videos is excellent, and the range of cars and owners is broad, making your RUclips Channel my favorite to watch!
@@NicoleJohnsonsDetour No, thank you! Your channel reminds me of the story of Jerry Buss, who bought the LA Lakers Basketball Team. Jerry's vision was that we wasn't selling fans just to watch basketball but selling entertainment. So he formed the Laker Girls to make the game more entertaining. All the other team owners thought Jerry was crazy and felt the games should only be focused on basketball. But with Jerry's focus was that people went to the game for entertainment. With the Laker Girls, attendance and enthusiasm grew, which made the team more profitable. Today, every NBA team as their version of cheerleaders/"Laker Girls."" My point (although long-winded) is that your channel isn't just providing cold facts of cars but is more focused on entertainment around the cars, which results in super fun an entertaining episodes - the LA Lakers of RUclips Car Channels!
Wow. Nicole, how on earth are you going to top this episode?!?! This guy has his head screwed on straight. Such a well turned out car that was clearly running as sweetly as ever it had with lots of effort put into making it so whilst preserving the superb patina and character. Please, please, please camp put at this shop and give us more content like this!

This is THE. MOST. deathtrappy death trap to ever roll, and I fucking LOVE IT! You need to do a mini series on this guy's story and his garage and life experiences!

So keep up the great videos of your journey 🎉😊 ! I love it
I always love watching every episode that you make and am always happy when a new episode is posted. You're a great host, the production of your videos is excellent, and the range of cars and owners is broad, making your RUclips Channel my favorite to watch!
You make us smile...thanks for watching and supporting the channel!!
Today, every NBA team as their version of cheerleaders/"Laker Girls.""
My point (although long-winded) is that your channel isn't just providing cold facts of cars but is more focused on entertainment around the cars, which results in super fun an entertaining episodes - the LA Lakers of RUclips Car Channels!
Loved it! Keep them coming please.
One of your best episodes yet!!! I love the old iron!!!

I would drive that Nova in a heartbeat. It's been awhile since I have driven a stick, but kinda like riding a bicycle, you never forget.
