This is because Truck Stop, as well as Atlantis (not to be confused with Gottlieb's EM table with the same name) uses Williams System 11 sound board instead of Bally's Sounds Deluxe, used in few earlier games, such as Blackwater 100.
Hello and I love being welcomed to your videos. Awesome Pinball Machine and enjoying Vid. Keep up the good work saving them hardly seen in the Arcade Pinball Machines. ❤️👍
Not been able to play this one in the wild. Prefer machines where the pf isn't mirrored. Looks great though, you've done a great job on it and you've played it like a champ. I doubt I would do as well as you here.
Truck Stop uses 1 inch balls. These are slightly lighter than standard size pinballs. On properly adjusted lower flipper mechs, the ball shouldn't have issues going into the far ramp, respective for each of the lower flippers.
Your game is missing one way half gates on the bottom of the lower ramps that align balls approaching the upper flippers. it also has nasty flipper hop on the lower right flipper.
Huh. I didn't even realize it was supposed to have half gates there, although it makes tons of sense. I hated the way the ball wouldn't approach the upper right flipper properly and tried everything to make it right. Half gates would have solved the problem. As for the "nasty" flipper hop, I'm not sure I see what you see, and I'm usually pretty picky about flipper hop.
@@londonpinball since it's a trucker game, maybe it's meant to have some hop. Designers sometimes implement such things for feel of game. Can just picture that truck driver jiggling in the 💺 seat.
@@nothingbutice3833 games are never intended to have flipper hop. at least any game with flippers this thin. also, the flipper gap is too big, because the proper bally ridged "carrot" flippers aren't being used.
This sounds like a combination of Whirlwind and Taxi 😊

Cool game! Less than 1600 made too!
Bally pinball machine with william's flippers
Bally was owned by Williams when Truck Stop was made.
Dont see these too often. Looks good 🤟
I've never seen that game before but it looks like it's fun to shoot

Are the flippers powerful enough to launch the ball to the outer ramps? It seems that the ball is having a hard time getting up the rightmost ramp.

Ps you play with passion reminds me of myself but I'd swear to much 😂
