They send a crazy amount of zombies and specials when doing this co-op. Its beyond ridiculous. We had probably 8 special and 3 or 4 elites not including the elite with the artifact plus at least 50 zombies all at once and they kept adding more as time went by

I genuinely have no explanation as to why Treyarch thought it would be a good idea to have mimics and Amalgams on the same map when they basically are the same thing, and then spam the shit out out of them in this fight. Then having the red zombies one tap you if you barely have any armor when you're already too busy avoiding lasers that also one tap. It's low key just irritating for the sake of being irritating. I've already attempted this boss like nine or ten times. I'm starting to think BO6 is the leaning in the direction of being overly reliant on gobblegums or coop coordination. It just doesn't seem like anything being QA tested either with how often the game breaks too. This truly is a chaos style map with the sentinel artifact and the infamous boss spam from BO4.
I failed it again, ruined the mangler injection phase and that was just undoable for me in repeat phase, to many elite I couldn’t take em down , also had to do multiple phase repeats because ether wasn’t charged and I couldn’t get to the mirror fast enough to get dmg in… for me, it’s just to difficult.
@@brettwilmarth8091 ahh I thought it was my controller too.. ending up setting deadzone on right trigger to 50 and it worked more times than not but it makes my shotgun shoot slow as shit.

I have a Safe file game with set up asg shotgun pap3/legendary, staff, perks and golden armor; handcannon and tactical as usually… I hope I can do it later
That’s absurd. I was doing 800 damage with the gold 3 pap asval. Got it to split once but spent an hour shooting at it after that and never advanced. Seems broken that you need a certain gun
@titogee36 really? Best way to set up for citadel is when doing the incantation make sure you hold a zombie. Its easier on vermin round but if you can get a vermin/fly to hold you can literally farm the infinite zombies spawning. Lead the zombies away from the incantation item and start shooting them. You can literally get legendary tier and pap 3 if you do this correctly. This method can help save you time and get to the boss fight possibly before round 20. Lion sword is somewhat nerfed but it helps restore armor still. Augments for melee machiatto (sorry if spelled wrong) make sure you use the vampire thirst because each hits restore health.
Is it actually worth it tho looks like the same dps as it is without dragons breath both doing 4k or does the burn damage kill the artifact abit quicker ?
bro, I literally the ONLY reason I lost the boss fight was because I ran out of asg ammo… Phase 4, middle of the phase I ran out of ammo and got fucked when I only had the ice staff to handle amalgams, I’m bringin reign drops and caches next time.

Death perception with its capstone augment allows you to do crits on the boss. It isn't super super frequent but it def helps for the cost

They must have fixed it. Dragon breath reduced the damage per shot against the boss. That didn't happen in this vid so ya looks patched to me

I’ve tried over 15 times now. This boss sucks. I’ve even gotten in the boss fight at level 18. They seriously need to nerf this boss.
