How do you bypass the Cycle days in order to water every evening? Seems like the Cycle day minimum setting is 2 days? Why can't this be set to "0" or turned off completely if wanting to water every evening??
Did you find the answer you were looking for? I had/have the same issue. I may have solved this issue, just set it this morning so I'm not sure if it is working as I want, watering every day. When in auto, press and hold the + key until 'Delay 1' pops up. Then hit the - key and for a fraction of a second, it says delay 0, then reverts to auto. Hope this works for you because that should mean it is working for me. I'll watch it for a few days and see.
Got a new wifi⁶ router and now it sees the new router but claims not good enough signal dispite it being full for any other device. It's the same distance for the old router so it not that. Will you be doing a firmware update anytime? As new routers are all wifi⁶....
so we had a new controller installed and it was working fine...then we had a power surge and the transformer blew.....we had another controller installed but since then it's not working properly. the pump keeps clicking in and the pressure is low ....any idea what could be the problem
I would get a cyliniod wire it direct to the controller turning it on zone by zone and listening for the cyliniod to click/hum. Confirming that's good, you may need to replace the pump start relay
I need to add a watering cycle for only certain zones (some to water twice and others to water three times/day). How do I accomplish that with the programming? Or will I just have to do it manually?
Pick an unused program A,B,C,or D. Set a start time. Pick your zones (set zone run time?) And add time Set days of the week to water Put controller on Auto.
After a $180.00 water bill, I am here. Thank you soooo much for this informative video. Question: I had Start times at 6a, 615a, 630a, 645a…running each station (4 stations) for 10 mins each. I did not realize for each start time, it is actually a FULL cycle of the 4 stations …am I correct in this? So now, I just programmed ONE start time with the intention that all stations will run ONE time. Is this correct? Lesson learned. Thank you so much, again
Thank you for contacting Rain Bird! Yes, you are correct. Each start time is an entire full cycle. Yes, you only need to set up the 1st start time for it to water once a full cycle.
Thank you. So to clarify. If I have 7 stations I only need to set the start time for station 1 (5am). Set all others to “off”. Then I would set the run times for all 7 at say 30 mins? Then all would run once beginning with The first station at 5am with station 7 finishing at 8:30am?

Is the program glitchy for Android phones? I can’t get the zones to show up on two different Android phones but it loads fine on IPads.

This was super helpful
How do you add a master valve
Can you alternate zones and days? Example Zone 1 and 2 waters Monday, Zone 3 and 4 on Tuesday, Zone 1 and 2 waters Thursday, Zone 3 and 4 on Friday?
Program the program for each zone separately, and that’s it. You have 4 programs A, B, C, D!

How to ad time to sectin

Pick an unused program A,B,C,or D.
Set a start time.
Pick your zones (set zone run time?) And add time
Set days of the week to water
Put controller on Auto.
Zones that need 2 start times can be on one program
Zones that need 3 start times will need another program
Can you start them all at the same time??
No. In most residential applications you would kill water pressure if you could.
Rain Delay: 2:08
How to start watering now
Hold the right arrow and it will start.
3:41 master valve
Can I adjust the readout brightness?
No. (In case anyone else has the same question)

Hi Rhys! That is accurate, you only need one start time to run through all your stations for 30 minutes.
That’s it? Mine was 300 something 😂
@@RainBirdCorporation thank you sooo much!
