Main security flaw is a card in the outside part of the bell.

Awesome video. Do you know what happens if the Wifi cuts out? I know recordings can't be uploaded or synced with phone because that needs wifi and internet, but are the recordings still recorded to the SD card? - if so, how are they accessed later?

Thx for the Video. I didn’t see how you install it on ur door frames outside. And I didn’t get information about how much is the charge for the cloud storage per month, neither i got information regarding USD CARD.
    GREAT JOB.
    THX

As I received no asnwers to the questions I had raised on this page, I contacted Arenti; the answer came back yesterday, partly in Chinese. Only one phone can be connected to the camera of the door bell at a time, but notifications may be sent to another phone via sharing, which (the way I understand it) needs to be enabled through the settings of the application on the phone which is connected. In addition, the camera connection uses the WiFi exclusively, in particular the 2.4 GHz (i.e., NOT the 5 GHz) band.

Bit of a bad design with sd card and reset switch on the doorbell itself anyone could take it out and reset the doorbell

Exactly what I thought. Clearly a security flaw. What is the point of recording ability if anyone can just take the card out.

I tried to install their door bell1 and I gave up, it took forever to "generate encrypted signal" or trying to view the feed(beside it takes forever) failed and it just restarted.
I don't know how the other devices are but I'm going back to Ring 😂

This is a follow-up to a former comment of mine. In the meantime, I contacted their customer service (China) three times, asking one specific question per case. I received "apologies for the inconvenience," but no useful answers. To wrap it up, the app drains the cell-phone battery, I have found no way to get only the important messages using the app, direct sunlight in the morning hours is a problem, standard accessories for this brand (e.g., a 45-deg wedge which could tilt the doorbell away from the sunlight, if needed) are not available. I cannot possibly recommend this product.

NEED help please. This is getting out of hand. Bought the " 2 Pack " Arenti GO1 Cameras(NO Solar Panels/bought separately). Chose 10W 5V pair of Solar Panels (one) for each Camera.
Arenti Support says I NEED a Micro USB to Micro USB REGULATOR because if I don't it could possibly OVERcharge the Cameras when they reach 100% Capacity on the Battery on a day-to-day basis.
I have went to 11 YT Videos and EBAY Sellers, and NO ONE mentions as they unpack the Cameras in their Video about worrying about what I mentioned..Let alone advertising that there is a REGULATOR with the Product. What the HECK. Thanks for ANY help Guys. GOOD Video by the way.

Does this app allow you to view who is at your door if you aren't home???

Yes, providing you have internet access, you can view your camera from anywhere in the world (with phone network coverage)

@@DortechDirectLtd seeing this doorbell has to use 2.4ghz not 5 GHz if I was somewhere that had 5ghz it wouldnt work then?
Reason I am asking I was at someone's home and the app wouldn't open up it was just a black screen.their wifi is 5ghz.
Would that be the reason. The app went black?
