Was at this gig and it sounded amazing in this small venue,Larry Fast on keyboards from Gabriel's earlier incarnations and Synergy.Local vocalist Larry Gowan got up and performed several songs which Levin and Marotta both played on originally. as well as a few Gabriel tunes!

I thought I was the only one lol.. the vocal lines mimicked on Tony's bass are just horribly out of tune...truly painful. Great cover, but WTF kind of pro would continue on with a cover being that out of pitch? GAH! I pray he fired that bass tech hahahaha
Fret less bass and he's using a modulation effect, with a little drive/gain here & there. Yeah, a little harsh on the intonation but mimicking a vocal line. Tony's the man whatever he tries.
well peter i go with what hear it is a fretless and it takes a lifetime to master tuning on it , tony is very good but not on fret less please check any of Baba Elefante he plays only fretless all of his life . tony got a big name and a tremendous fame and Baba is not that famous but on his fret less playing he is a master i am a guitar player of almost 50 years in music bussines so i know a litle bit
Badass cover...but that lack of intonation is just horrible on Tony's Stingray. Maybe he should've opted for fretlines lol...ugghh like nails on a chalkboard. Still one of my favourite bassists, nonetheless.
