Great Lesson, thank you! I went down with flu last week, but I have already reacovered. I came down with flu last week and I have been struggling with it since then. Does it make any sense to you Mr. Skypelessons? Please help.
Dave, thank you for another good lesson. If I may share my favourite word about the topic, it is "inflammation", which I, sadly, learned the hard way when I had one with my eyes. But what I am really interested in is how you pronounce the word "medicine". You said it several times so it wasn't a coincidence that you elaborate it in three syllables. I noticed because my teacher had used to say it in two, like "med-sin", I have also heard this variation from natives. Is it the American way to say it or the version of a different region of Britain? By the way, if I may humbly suggest, phonetics might be another good topic for your lessons.
We say "come down" not "got down" with I (first person)...EX. I´ve come down with a dreadful cold (not I´ve gone down..) Source: English Vocabulary in Use Advanced. Cambrigde. Pag. 108.A.
What about the word " cast"? can I use it instead of plaster too? other questions: can I say ? You need to take an x-ray . and... you'll need to be on a drip. Thanks!
awesome viode. would you mind giving explanation these words ? deduction ( economics term) cut through ( maybe cut through night) issue ( also economics) review entity observation descent thank you in advance
+Nusrat Aliyev I think I have covered all three of those words in other videos, but I have no idea which ones. So just watch all 215 videos, and I am certain you will find the answers! Make sure you like and share each video! Alternatively, use a dictionary and find out the answer in less than a minute.
+Nusrat Aliyev I recommend Oxford, and it is online. So you don't even need to lift a page. Each word comes with various meanings and uses, as well as lots of example sentences. www.oxforddictionaries.com/
+MrSkypelessons Hi english.stackexchange.com/questions/125961/whats-the-difference-between-nauseous-and-nauseated english.stackexchange.com/questions/125961/whats-the-difference-between-nauseous-and-nauseated there are discussions on this, so it is not incorrrect to say ı feel nauseous, ı have nausea or ı am nauseated 3 are ok:?
+mustafa camcı If Oxford says 'I feel nauseous' is correct, then that is good enough for me! Nauseous means 3 things. Affected by nausea (meaning number 1, and most common) or causing nausea (meaning number 2). Nauseous can also mean disgusting (meaning number 3, and least common) but that is NOT what it means in my sentence.
