Everytime this story comes up i always say this,"The weirdest thing to me is, thats not even Cap. Thats Hydra-Cap. The villain with ties to a certain man with a Charlie Chaplin mustache treats his killer better than Captain Marvel."
This is why crime predicting algorithms cannot be a basis for imprisonment. You're arresting someone for something they didn't do. That's fucking insane.
The saddest part is that this is hydra cap And yet the hydra sleeper agent acted more like a superheroe when it's a vision of his death then goddamm captain marvel
Only cause he saw what no one else saw in the vision of the future.... that miles was killing him in an america taken over by hydra. In that future vision it didn't matter that he died, cause hydra had already won.
On 1 end I get it, like, in dbz, future trunks tells the Z fighters the androids created by gero will fuck them all up, so bulma insists that they track gero down and murder him. Just for the Z fighters to turn the plan away. On the other end, if u know someone will do sumn, it gives u the chance to talk em down from it.
This is how most people tend to treat people who have already committed crime in the first place gone to prison been rehabilitated and came back out. It's actually kind of wild how many people we continue punishing like they are always commiting crime.
They may commit the crime. It a possibly future not guaranteed. They don’t even the reason behind the crime could have been self defense for all they know.
It's important to note that the Inhuman that foresaw all these events *doesn't actually see the future.* He calculates on what the future is most likely going to be, and part of those calculations includes, "Captain Marvel is going to freak out and go goosestepping into the Fourth Reich."

Captain Marvel is literally the worst character in comics. It’s stuff like this that makes it insane to push her so hard in the MCU. Seriously, name me a more hated Marvel character. (Besides Paul)
This is why I hate BOTH Civil Wars. Because every time someone has to be character assassinated into being a villain. First one was Iron Man. Now, it was Captain Marvel.
Tbf, a tech magnate alcoholic narcissist and a fanatically militant cosmic-empowered American soldier would both definitely be the most likely heroes to become authoritarian for their idea of the greater good.
Yeah, I never was a big fan of how both comic storylines chose to completely change certain characters to feed into the power fantasy of who would win a fight. At least in the first Civil War comic event, it made sense why there were different sides as there was a level of understanding to both Tony and Cap's perspectives; the only problem is that both comic events have somewhat underwhelming endings and executions of how to explore these ideas that make sense for these characters. It's one of the reasons why I vastly prefer how the MCU adapted the Civil War event, as it was not just about the differences in political ideology but overwhelming deceit and lies that led to a natural breaking point because at least MCU Cap and Iron Man felt like their actions made sense for their live-action adaptions.
@@milkiassamuel780 that’s a fair way to look at it, but I think comic Civil War had a stronger inciting incident with the whole school situation. Comparatively, Sokovia felt like too little to justify the accords, and the other major events weren’t even the Avengers’ fault
nah there was a good reason for the first one and Iron mans decent to anti-heroism was great. He actually had to face the consequences of his actions and had karma kick his ass untill he redeemed himself. Not the same at all for Captain Marvel....
@@bobbyshewan4229 That is a good point, though, as in the MCU, there were much bigger disasters like the Battle of New York and the collapse of SHEILD (Captain America and the Winder Soldier), The destruction of Sokovia, etc... all of which seemed way bigger justifications for the Sokovia Accords, so I do agree with your point about the death of all the school kids and a whole neighbourhood felt more like a better-justified catalyst for the Superhero Registration Act in the original Civil War comic. However, I still prefer the MCU's take on the storyline, specifically the conflict of interest, the inside battle between heroes and the different political ideologies of both Team Cap and Iron Man.

This is why crime predicting algorithms cannot be a basis for imprisonment.
You're arresting someone for something they didn't do. That's fucking insane.
The thing is, this future was Spider-man actually being somewhat of a hero, as Captain America at this point is a secret Hydra agent.
The saddest part is that this is hydra cap
And yet the hydra sleeper agent acted more like a superheroe when it's a vision of his death then goddamm captain marvel
Only cause he saw what no one else saw in the vision of the future.... that miles was killing him in an america taken over by hydra. In that future vision it didn't matter that he died, cause hydra had already won.
Carol’s face when she realized she’ll have to arrest the ENTIRE population of Wakanda is hilarious.
Future Crime is insane to me. Yes they are gonna commit a crime in the future lets get them.
Don't let the thought police find out, Big brother is always watching.

T’challa using the hood skill to protect miles, what a homie

Funny thing is, almost every event the psychic saw was instigated to be unimaginably worse because of captain marvel intervening.
It's important to note that the Inhuman that foresaw all these events *doesn't actually see the future.* He calculates on what the future is most likely going to be, and part of those calculations includes, "Captain Marvel is going to freak out and go goosestepping into the Fourth Reich."
Ah, the arc that put the nail in coffin on Captain Marvel character enjoyment

T'Challa: "I am my nation and if you strike me, my nation will strike back."
Every single Spiderman: first time?
