There are a lot, a lot of Israeli dances way faster than Russian dances. I know because I dance both. Usually the fast Israel dances have a Greek or Spanish musical and choreography flavour, so focus less on the tempo /speed of the dance and just enjoy the melody and the dance fluidity.
The music is not Russian music. It was composed by the 13 year old Argentinian kid. He lives in Israel and became a great singer. His name is Shlomo idov.

I wish he would not keep on clapping his hands. It is not part of the dance and it is annoying.
