I do recommend at least four bundles when using longer lengths but since my client only had 3 I installed the first bundle at about 1” inch apart as opposed to installing it half an inch apart... I hope that was helpful 🙂
Girl why are you so bothered about what my client needs… I service my client according to their requests. I'm pro-choice if she dont want a trim I will not trim /cut her hair.

When doing a sew in, do you start with the shortest bundle to longest or the other way? I'm a beginner.
I usually start with the Longest length then work my way up the crown with the shortest lengths
