Naaaaah, man. Soundtrack was subpar to Vice City. It had many songs that were questionable. Of course VCS also had bangers like this, but VC just has the better music. It's just a fact.
I was a teenager at 14 when I played (and replayed many times thereafter) GTA Vice City Stories and had so many lovely memories just driving down the highways at night with this song being played on the radio. It’s one of those games that just stays with you forever. I’m 29 this year and I hope that I’ll be able to play and relive those memories of mine even when I’m 70 or 80.
Odd thing about Vice City is the nostalgia of my youth playing this game now matches in years the nostalgia of someone playing this game and remembering their youth at the time.

Something about the old gta games are more livelier than the newer ones. The colors, the music, and whole vibe. The new ones seem like a boring day in the city.

I extracted MP3 audio filles from GTA Vice City CD and burned them onto a CD for my drive. The audio files are the standard 128kbs but the quality is amazing beating the maximum bitrate 320kbs. It seemed that the music is from the orignal master tapes NOT from the consumer CDs !
Oh my goodness remember playing this on my PSP loved it😢 brings back my childhood 🎉 now I’m a Mafia Member so you can tell what this game did for me ❤❤

It's sad this and LCS are locked to just PS2 and PSP, I don't count the mobile touch ports. But at the same time I'm also glad bc they would butcher both games soundtracks bc of the expired licenses not to mention they would probably remove the Collins missions and concert so they wouldn't have to cough up royalties to Phil. It's a mixed bag unless you have a PC and can just use upscaling mods
I'm so surprised when I heard this in the game's intro the first time I played this game. It really sets the mood of the game and hits hard a lot later in the story. Also, I prefer VCS' Emotion than VC's.

The Stories games are underrated masterpieces.
The brought back old maps but changed them just enough to keep the city new and interesting.
