Michael Berry played Shinyribs sequel to this today after his regular Friday afternoon Blackberry Smoke's "I can feel a good coming own". And that is "Take me out of Lake Charles".
It was so raucous that I was transformed back six decades when the guitars faded out and the loudly lilting melody of the piano came on. The first contemporary music that gave a feeling like that in quite a while. And tomorrow I'll be eighty.

I heard this sing for the first time last night. The bass player in my friend Carmine Sardo’s band sang it-that’s how I discovered this raucous, riotous band. Hope they make it out to L.A. soon.

You know what they say, "If you ain't Texan, you ain't sh_t". Shinyribs is the heart of Texan! Love it, or move on to your corporate Nashville.
