@@moonlight_flm no dude its an official sub genre of dubstep formerly known as Melodic Riddim legally established by Chime with his records rush down introducing with first Color bass Vol.1 album
Even Virtual riot and disciples records and others main stage bass artist recognized this as new sub genre of dubstep music
actual emergence of this style had been performed by sharks back in like 2019 tho ;_;

colour bass.... I'm still overwhelmed by what it is until now actually. A lot of ppl call colour bass when there is a watery sound, tonal, colourful, melodically but more than 50% comment always said something that I literally just spawned there. I have watched some videos but those all just wasted my time.

@@moonlight_flm color bass basically is using additional synth color on riddim bass by using vocoder plugins or one shot chord fragment in convolver plugins to make the low end bass sound more watery,plucky and sometime metallic
