Just wanted to thank you for this video. I had to remove my fairings to do a coolant change and your instructions helped me tremendously. I might buy your integrated tail light kit soon!
This is great, I'm working on a friends bike today and one of her mods is a TST front signal swap on 40th Edition ZX6R, but the other's a Quadlock with power, and one of the fairings needed to come off for routing power anyway, and here this answers all the things without needing to remove both fairings. Thanks for this!
Oh sweet Jesus, putting the front scoop shrouds back in was a nightmare. Turning the wheel in the opposite direction of the side I was working on helped a lot but I lost 20 minutes trying before that. Thanks a ton for the informative videos. These are a huge help and personally I wouldn’t have bought these (as well as the fender eliminator and tail light) without step by step video instructions.
Sorry man...Kawi really convoluted that design. We did our best to break down the steps so anyone could follow but unfortunately we could not make the installation of our Nexus any easier than the OE signal lamps.
@@TSTindustries Love the vids and I’m glad to see you all are still at it. My first install was an integrated tail light in my ‘14 Ninja 300. Maybe the 2021 zx6r bracket is different but it did not fit between the fairing and the light. Had to put it on the other side because it hits the plastic ear on the light and the holes did not line up correctly. Doing this then causes the bracket to not align correctly with the inner fairing fastener and when you do finally get it lined up, it pushes the inner fairing away and leaves a gap. Very minor issue, but even the cheap chinese leds fit better than these did. Overall, i got it to work and they look great.
oh man... i just ordered these for my 2021 zx6r... now im worried theyre not gonna fit right :/ time will tell, i hope i dont have to reach out to their customer service
@@NikkotineMusic I wouldn't worry to much. Just know you may have to put the bracket on the outside of the light rather than between the light and fairing. When you put the inner fairing liner back in, once you get the part under the nose aligned, install the retainer in the point of the nose first to hold it up, then install the retainer on the side of the liner that goes to the hole in the bracket on the light. You may need to be a bit forceful to get out to line up. It is about 1/4" out of alignment.
