So happy you are enjoying this. I honestly think this will be your new Inbetweeners. From series 2, Peep Show gets massively better (like Father Ted). ❤👍
Yes exactly! S2 onwards, the show has a bigger budget, better sets and much better dialogue (not as serious/awkward). The studio realized it was a hit show after S3 when they noticed how good the DVD sales were lol
The show really finds its feet in season 2 onwards bro. When you know the show you love series 1 but it's a bit slower and filmed a bit grittier. Production and character development really kicks on after this series and continues right through to the 9th season. Excited to see your journey through it KB 🙌
With Peep Show, it picks up momentum after the first series tbh. The first is still good and got some good episodes/jokes but like all good shows, the writers start to know what they want to do with the characters after they get comfortable. Another thing you could check out is the Mitchell and Webb look. It's imo one of the best sketch shows ever to be released and still funny to me. Although they do have some repeating characters, they kind of avoid it and just made really funny sketches
When you said that Jeremy (Jez) was a grown-up version of Jay from Inbetweeners, it made me think that you're not only correct but that Mark would be a grown-up Will. The only difference is that all the weird and improbable sex that Jeremy talks about has usually actually happened and is not made up.
This show is a long burn - but you'll be glad of sticking through the 'set-up' of the earlier episodes. This show will give you shocks that might actually beat the Inbetweeners. I won't spoil anything - but damn are you in for a treat with this series.
Mitchell has a great series, "UPSTART CROW" He plays Shakespeare hilariously in London and at home. Also, Matt King (Super Hans) play a rocker ghost in "SPIRITED"
1:02 Awww frieeeend ! 👍👍 1:57 It was me, when I went back over the Inbetweeners videos, even tho I gave all of them a thumbs up when I originally watched them, when I went back to watch them, it showed I hadn't, so I did...again... THANKS RUclips ! 21:22 He is, indeed, a faking little peg-leg
You missed out a few key scenes here...! Not sure if the issue was the video or you purposefully leaving them out. Other channels have the full episodes on so hopefully you can do that going forward! Still, love the reactions dude!
@Tele-gram_KING_BOOMER Get that Green Wing vibe rolling, you absolute muppet, mate. I've commented multiple times that, if you do Green Wing, you will be one of the first American reactors ever. There is only one or two reactions out there. You could honestly be the one to start the trend. You can do this. I firmly believe this is specifically the show for you. I imagine multiple chair back, WTF, out of frame reactions incoming. I think it's that in tune with your own sensibilities.
Oh yes, I was obsessed with Green Wing for a few years there. It’s very random but given that you already get and love some of my favourite shows already, with a bit of patience I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. It also has Olivia Colman in it. If you already got round to it, apologies I’ll have to check the channel! Enjoy! 😊
You can own a firearm over here, it's just certain ones you can't and they're heavily regulated and the licences are very expensive to pay every year. So people who need them for their jobs or for sport own them mostly
The firearm thing in the uk ok so they’re not entirely illegal but they are hard to get handguns of any kind are banned and illegal. however with license and trust me that is not easy to get, you can have a shotgun or a rifle. Handguns were actually banned in the uk after the dumblaine massacre which happened in 1995.
My recommendation for a review is "The Thick Of It" - it is based around Westminster and UK Politics. Think of it as similar to The West Wing but more sweary.
It’s probably a toy gun. And there are over 1 million registered firearms in the UK lol. Also, I don’t think RUclips is gonna strike you for marks singing of that song 😅
I remember watching peep show when it first came out n thought it was dogshit n didn't watch it again...n by chance ten years later I caught a series 4 episide on channel 4 and it was the funniest thing I'd ever seen...so I gave it a chance went back and watched them all and I don't regret it Series one is hard to get through and isn't all that funny give or take the off episide... everything after that is comedy gold ....might be my favorite
Did you miss the phone call section of the episode on purpose or was it the youtube video? That would give the the second half of the episode a lot more context. I feel like it cut bits out of the episode.
Love a bit of Peep Show, for me it edges out the Inbetweeners as my fav comedy. Another show I'd recommend is Outnumbered, it's not quite as outrageous as them, but still very funny and a good change of pace from the other comedies you've been reacting to. Also reckon the Queen would enjoy it.
@@jameslewis3929 What's likeable about them? The only one that's slightly likeable is the elder son. It's exciting that you're upgrading everything, but with better gear you certainly have to learn how to set it up, or talk to some experts who can help fine tune your set up, you're now getting into the realms where you've got gear which is capable of capturing really beautiful videography, so knowing some of the basics of lighting and aperture/depth of field etc. comes hand in hand with that. Also don't shout, but your mic isn't too loud, it's just a bit harsh, I have nice speakers on my laptop and the bass goes nuts now, it's not the volume, you just need to tone down what your mic is picking up, everything I say is meant to be helpful though!!!🤣

Hey King....I recommend 'Extras' from Ricky Gervais. Massively underrated. Every episode is enjoyable with laugh out loud scenes, and the series has a good overall story.
Peep Show is a UK Mount Rushmore comedy, much like The Office, but I can't help but think it's just too obscure for someone that didn't grow up here? There's so much nuance in it that is so ingrained in the culture here. Although I suppose Season 1 to be fair was the maddest of the lot.
Jez *is* like a grown-up Jay. Only to be fair, I honestly think Jay has more of a moral compass 😅 He at least has more of an excuse to be terrible, being a dumb sheltered teenager. Definitely stick with this show - the first season is somewhat mundane, but it gets more hilarious and outrageous in future seasons.
