The fact this band has put out 3 absolutely amazing albums and still, sadly, still aren't much more well known....it's practically criminal. I feel like they might be the Pixies of this past decade, a band that will influence and be heralded many years later, but unfortunately will go under the radar from the masses during their heyday.
The test of a band is to have a richly produced body of work like Lord Huron's first three albums, then stumble on a small acoustic set like this and go, DAMN, just like I thought, the basic great songwriting was there all along, bigly. But who put the wax paper over the mike for the last part?
