- In this episode 3 of the the Backyard Food Sufficient challenge we map out and plan our garden on paper and on the land. We decided to change it up a little and design a mandala circle garden with the trampoline for Birdie in the centre point. This will make some things more challenging however it’s been a dream to create something like this and it felt like the backyard was the perfect place to experiment.
We give an update of the budget and how we are tracking at the end of this episode.
Please share this with anyone you think might want to follow along and we will read and aim to reply to each comment.
Thanks for joining our series and being a part of this food growing community.
My name is Craig and together with my partner Chrissy and our little girl Birdie Skye and a few friends we live, work and grow food at Shambhala Farm on the Sunshine Coast QLD Australia.
We are passionate about regenerative living and reconnecting to the rhythms of Nature.
We grow food for the farmers market and twice a year we open enrolment to our full online training program. The Shambhala 12 week food growing course.
It’s much more than just food growing it’s a way of living and we would love to share it with you.
We hope these episodes of us documenting our latest journey that it might inspire more food growers and plant the seeds for regenerative change.
