So far the Cares Act has been signed into law by President Trump, the House of Representatives and the Senate. Congress proposed the stimulus checks and stimulus packages in March.

I get under 800.00 dollars a month and I pay my bills and I only have 25.00 left on my power bill that the deposit which will be paid at the end of the month bit I am having to replace everything I owned because not only was I homeless with very little someone though they need it more I get a little bit each month but I don't have much I the second time in 5 years I lost everything because someone else wouldn't give me my things but take 5 months to get 1/4 of what I had here but to get what I had 5 years ago it was a 10 bye 5 storage unit I just got out of and those things I can never replace pictures of my mom and great grandma there gone for ever

The cost of living has risen since they started on this stimulus package. The checks to citizens should be 2000 dollars. And when you add up all the benefits for Americans there is still about one trillion dollars not accounted for. Wrap my mind around that.

Does a single person making $80,000 really need $1,400? I think not. Does a married couple with no children making $160,00 really need $1,400? If you can't live off of $80,000 being single or $160,000 being married how can you expect someone to live off minimum wage?

Minimum wage is for young people new to the workforce. If you haven't taken steps to better yourself or make yourself more valuable as a worker, that's on you!
While i agree with you the issue with this change that i see (This doesn't affect me at all so no bias here) is that someone who made $80,001 in 2019 but lost their job in 2020 and has had no new income from lets say june 2020 so 9 months may be having issues. with that income you probably have a mortgage and car payments. but now 9 months of no or little income means you're finally running out. while this is a much smaller number than the amount that receive and don't need it im sure, it would be the argument in my head.

This is done because if we have Republican President and the 25th Amendment is invoked or the President is unable to serve anymore the Vice President would Assume the Presidency if the Speaker of the House was Democrat that would be a conflict of interests so the New President would nominate a New Vice President and would have to be approved by the Senate and Congress

If you're in Texas and your bill was effected by the weather you need to protest it. I live in Austin and my bill was only 51 for electric in a 4 bed house. The companies they jacked up the price are technically price gouging during a State of Emergancy.

That was dead last July... They really don't care about us when it comes to spending our tax dollars. Our household has 5 people working every day, two of which are grown kids who had to move home thanks to the lack of help from our government, the increase in rent, and price increase in groceries.
That was all a lie , They don't care about us.
