I think a fight broke out between the witches and the Jedi that caused the destruction of the compound. We only see the small perspective of OSHA as that event happens. 40:00 I also get why OSHA was desperate to leave. Mae was super clingy and also the dominant twin. OSHA felt smothered and powerless among the witches.
I think the real "Jedi are Cops energy" shows up because the Black Jedi with the Killmonger locs is basically a brand new Jedi and he's always pulling out his lightsaber. Brandishing his weapon when there is no real point to. From the episodes I saw so far the veteran Jedi never pull their weapon unless they need to like during the fight in the first episode. Killmonger locs had real untrained rookie cop energy.
Right with your theory on who the master might be. I want it to be Indara so The Galaxy's Easiest Jedi YeeeEET makes some sorta sense, but your theory is on.
They did have some witches using the force in Asohka and those kids at the end of The Last Jedi. I like that this show casts the Jedi as an authoritarian force trying to assimilate all the power within their ranks to "maintain order." Reminded me of some particular flashback scenes from Lovecraft Country and Watchmen...
Episode 3 was dope. We got witches and calling the Jedi out as colonizers (finally). Also, I think this series is about duality. Duality of the twins (as a person and a pair) and the Jedi’s (b/c they see themselves as good while people not under the Republic see them as bad).
Naw, what I took from it was that the two things happened simultaneously. Mae set the fire and I think that the Rookie Jedi did some dumb ish that led to the witches being killed. The other masters covered up the rookie's actions.
@@ForAllNerdsTV I assume that you watched the entire “Little Mermaid” movie. We have only seen 3/8 of the season of “The Acolyte”, which is equivalent to the first 45 minutes of a two hour movie. The first 45 minutes of “Star Wars: A New Hope” wasn’t really all that interesting, either. The most interesting character was the prissy, golden droid.
@@thesharpercoder we’ve seen more and nothing changes… we have been doing reviews for awhile now and even in the first 45 of Star Wars there was far more than in five episodes of this. Thanks for watching
We saw Oshas perspective and now we need to see Mae's perspective. I think the Jedi messed with Osha's memory.
That would make the Jedi pretty ruthless! Gonna have to see if they are willing to show them do something like that.

Def more to it!
Becoming Moesha is taking me out so bad 😭😭😭

Lol facts.
Lol killmonger locs 😂
Excited for the show to continue. It has good action scenes
14:59 "the last defiant roar of Chewbacca." Went out like a G!
Ehhh

Lol that would help but doubtful. Indara is meme material.

The loudest criticism of this show is coming from the same people that hated “The Little Mermaid”.
Not really. Loved the little mermaid. Still have criticism of the show.
