In the past I use to have insomnia and racing thoughts at night. Over the past few years I lost a little weight, drink lots of water, eliminated most processed foods and sugar, decluttered, fast everyday, swim, hike and travel and overall try to live a more simple and less complicated life. I think 🤔 it might have helped with my sleep. Hope you find a solution Jeff, take care of yourself and wish you the best!
Ouch on the TMJ symptoms. I like to have a warm glass of milk before bedtime. On the nights I have BBQ'd steak I sleep like a baby. I forgot the water in the valley has an unappealing flavor, so glad to be in the land of ice and snow meltdown getting flooded. I haven't tried other supplements, found I wasn't compatible to synthetic ingredients and got migraines from fake sweeteners, diet sodas, phenylalanine, aspartame, and methanol. Inherited chemical sensitivity, and allergic reactions to some perfumes, metals, latex, penicillin. I think exercise during the day helps to alleviate restlessness, depending on the planetary alignments, room temperature and weather conditions. I sleep well on snowy nights because it's so incredibly quiet, until the snowplow goes by at 0130. Sweet Dreams 😴
Have you tried a bowl of cereal before going to sleep? Not drinking liquids past 7pm? I put on Come Follow Me readings from Gospel Library App. Best sedative ever...
When you work for yourself and are responsible for every step of your paycheck, there will be many sleepless nights, until you basically cant sleep well. Sleep aids work, I subscribed to Relaxium, it works, but its expensive. I will try both of these.

I agree with you especially with the exercise Idea. Got to wear yourself out to get a good nights rest.
