Dear darling Robyn. I too follow you, never get to do everything, if anything that you do, but I love watching and learning. My time will come. ❤🙏🌸. I am sorry for the sad that follows losing a parent. Take time and care 💛 for yourself. Perls xx
So sorry for your loss, Robin. I love Gelli printing and have been so delighted to have a way to use my pan pastels. I bought a few sets years ago and my favorite way to use them is like this. Beautiful prints. 📄✂️🥰🌈🙌💕🦋
I love this type of videos... Generally , your narrative is so interesting that I lose myself in it and forget about the art! Here I could really focus 😂
Thank you so much for the reminder to use pan pastels for gelli plating! I need to pull out my supply and use them!!!! love your results. ❤ from Prescott
Lovely workshop as usual, Robyn. I was thinking of you the other day at the Embassy of the Free Mind in Amsterdam. OMG, all those rare books! I bet you’ve been there. Hope your allergies improve now you are back in the desert air. Stay well x
I love Gelliplating and I love watching you gelliplate Robyn. I also enjoy using pan pastels on the gelli plate. I usually end up using baby oil to clean off the remaining pan pastel after a couple ghost prints. I love how you did your glazing technique with them, I will have to try that! I hope you feel better soon. 💙
I love geli printing. ❤ You know I have been following you for years from the beginning actually but very seldom do I comment. But I love all your work you are very inspiring to me and clearly to a lot of people I also watch videos of others and I see they are also inspired by you but what I don’t like is they don’t always give you your propers for what they have learns from you or took from you and call it their own. Sometimes I do have to call them on it because that ain’t right. They should be proud to have found someone who has inspired them enough to even imitate that style. But know you truly have been a blessing to the art community and a inspiration to many. Blessings to you always ❤🙏🏼
Hi quick question regarding acrylics and pan pastels. when you use the pan pastels and layer the acrylics on top does the acrylic essentially seal in the pan pastels? or do you have to apply another layer of acrylic on top to seal in the pan pastels, as the pastels will be exposed at the top? Also given the smoothness of the glassine does it adhere sufficiently without cracking and does it work better for heavy body acrylics with glassine rather than fluid acrylics?
I love GELLI printing! Sending hugs and sympathies to you and your family. ❤❤

so much fun with pan pastels right?

Does the paint have to be white in glassine or can I use colors ?
