What I discovered about Jabez and I actually preached it for Dr. Trimm's event several years ago was that Jabez' name wasn't changed but the meaning of the name did because of the transformation that he did within himself. His name meant one thing in the lexicon of the day but after he lived and became who he became the name Jabez was redefined. Same name...different definition. This episode is powerful.
