I don’t get along with my dad much since my teenage years and onward but I just know when that stubborn old fuck kicks the bucket I’ll be watching PlayStation 1 videos remembering the 90’s and crying my fucking eyes out.
I can’t believe I still remember all the sounds, the tracks, the songs and I even got a little triggered when he couldn’t find the shortcuts! It’s like I accessed a very deep buried part of my brain
Was running an errand with my mother I was about 7, walked into KB Toys and she got me this game she knew how much I loved hotwheels. Many hours put into this game! Such a nostalgic feeling watching this! Miss those times
Man I remember when I was like 7-8 years old spending hours upon hours in this game trying to find all of the secret areas that way I could unlock all of the mystery vehicles. This game was my passion once and was the first game I 100 percent completed. I'm so surprised that after so long I still have so much love and nostalgia for this game. Thank you for allowing me and everyone else who has watched this video to have such a fun and memorable experience that we may otherwise never get to have again.
we had it good back then, the few games we had were pretty good fun, and we spent hours and hours targeting full unlocks and perfect playthroughs etc. i remember doing the same as you with this game, trying to unlock all the cars, also playing a lot of splitscreen. now kids have an infinite list of games to pick from, must be hard sticking with one for more than a few minutes. im surprised the whole world doesnt have adhd by now with all the games, smartphones and social media and etc.
Dude, I'd been looking for this game forever because I fondly remember it from my childhood. I thought it was on PS2, but it was on PS1?! God that makes me feel old.
Oh yes. I remember the Twinmill Cars in my childhood.. Simply put..if you are not careful / perfect with your turns, turbos and tricks.. These two are designed to push your skills to the utter limits and they can and will utterly destroy you.. They are endgame racers.. beating them essentially means you fully cleared the game. It's been a long time ago how many times it actually took for me to clear them..
Twin Mill will always be THE KING of Hot Wheels. It's got the perfect aerodynamics, the body design is stellar, and of course, the twin Chevy 502 V8 engines, pumping out a vicious 1400+HP! It's like a terrifying version of the Corvette Stingray, but built to be three times more powerful!
Glad whoever was racing finally figured out that you don't have much time for stunts or anything during Twinmill cup. First time through is rough for everyone there.
I decided to look this up owning the 64 version, and while sometimes 64 versions can be better in their own way then PS1 versions, this one has so much more flavor too it, wish I had this one instead growing up!
These track designs were crazy lol, they were almost 2 minutes a lap long and you had to do 6 laps? No wonder I remembered this game being pretty difficult lol
playing this 22 years ago(hot wheelse turbo racing was 1999) and now i have hot Wheels Unleashed brings waayyy back when i was a kid where i would lose to my cousins all the time. ahhhh memories. . . .
Dudeee that fuking crazy intro in sick!!!! Remember playing this with my lil bro back n the day daaam these were the times where we thought we were never grow up .... Boy we're wee wrong!!!....
God i remember playing this game an that twin mill cup was a pain in the ass. Just off luck. I remember first time playing they just boosted entire first lap. Until i got lucky one day an finaly won. Was just as hard as the final mission of driver 1
haha, such good memories. except it was waaaay better graphics in my memory. far out i almost forgot how long ago this was and how bad graphics ps1 was. is there any way to improve the graphics in an emulator? im keen to give this another crack in splitscreen someday.
Media used to say video games based on toylines or existing franchises suck... But this along with GoldenEye (and countless Disney/Marvel games back then) are huge exceptions... Not to mention for a PS1 game the game has fewer amounts of pop-in, which, for me, outclasses Ridge Racer and Gran Turismo !
@@wallyprichard7451 The limitations of the N64 cartridge were quite severe for most games, namely lack of storage and audio compression. Most of the full length music tracks are not present in the N64 version, and Metallica’s “Fuel” was removed completely. The PS1 version also had 2 more tracks; the red volcano tracks. The PS1 version did suffer graphically though in comparison, with notably higher texture pixelation and warping; this is usually the case for most games released in that era, the N64 version sports better visuals but the PS1 version is less limited in every other way due to the benefits of CD.
@@wallyprichard7451 Oh don’t get me wrong, I played on N64 over PS1 also, and there are plenty of games that are standout like you mentioned, perfect dark, shadow man, f zero etc. Later on in the lifecycle the Expansion pack was introduced which doubled the RAM and made games like Majora’s mask playable, and for the time it was a solid console. I do wonder what it would have been like if they had CDs instead of the dated cartridge format, though
@@gardenprogeny1141 - I owned both the PS and N64. I mostly played the PS for the light gun games and owned just about every gun made. Although the cartridges had limited space I actually preferred the them over the CD because (especially for handhelds) the CD's had long loading times and the cartridges actually had no moving parts making for fast reading plus you could write to them but N64 would have been even better with CD's.
1:39:45 esse carro. Esse jogo meio no inicio vc ganha um carro longo de evento de racha, pensa bem esse carro corre mais que tudo, ganhava todas com ele, mem precisava de nitro
What a lame. Can't even win the twinmill cup at one time 😂
What a shame you cant even spell
Wow you’re so cool
I remember this shit like it wasn’t 20 years ago
Lol 20 years for me too. I was 4 playing a whole ps1 lol
We are kids for ever in adult bodies
I played it when I was 7 back in 2005
Thumbs up for Metallica for their song fuel and giving us nostalgic memories for Hot Wheels Turbo Racing and of course NASCAR on NBC/TNT
Speaking of NASCAR let’s not forget the other sacred PS1 game. NASCAR Rumble. ❤️
I was like 3 years old playing this shit with my dad. Man time flies. Thank you for the good times dad.
These memories can never be replaced my friend! Totally unforgettable! Just like playing RE2 hahah
Mine too!
I don’t get along with my dad much since my teenage years and onward but I just know when that stubborn old fuck kicks the bucket I’ll be watching PlayStation 1 videos remembering the 90’s and crying my fucking eyes out.
Same me my sister and my cousins used to get in fights over this game when we kids.. nostalgia
I remember when I was a kid my dad bought this game and unlocked all the cars so we could play together the next day. Good times.
I can’t believe I still remember all the sounds, the tracks, the songs and I even got a little triggered when he couldn’t find the shortcuts! It’s like I accessed a very deep buried part of my brain
Dude, this game introduced me to Metallica and I've loved them ever since.
This game needs to be remastered!
Your wish almost came true today! They just announced a new Hotwheels game!
@@TheStoneyYoshi Here it is!

I love the voice that announces the car names, man the nostalgia, I wish there were racing games today with this sort of style.
The first Hot Wheels video game, and STILL THE BEST!!!
Actually not the first. Didn’t Hot Wheels Stunt Track Driver come out before this?
@Pablosuper90
With new cars known at other games plus newest entries of course
Hotwheels on commodore 64 is the first hotwheels video game.
Because in your mind the ps1 was the first game console smh 🤦♂️

This is my favorite Hot Wheels game
I remember as a kid playing with Stealth! lol sickest looking car and then I found one at KB Toy Store in black i almost lost my shit
Back when racing games didn’t have online multiplayer 🔥
Thanks so much racing games archives for uploading the full playthrough of this game.

Its so nostalgic feeling to hear the names of the cars again
i've had the N64 version of this game since i was 2 and never knew the difference between it and the PS1 version. absolutely insane lol
You played videogames with 2 years old?
Yeeeaah right 🥱
Ultmate childhood game! Used to have most of the car figures back in the day too, good times 😎
“Way too fast” damn the way the announcer says that is just perfect
This was more fun than that other Hot Wheels PS1 game
Bruh Hot Wheels Beat That is good!! They have Acceleracers cars
@@diethersantos6404 I'm mainly talking about Hot Wheels Extreme Racing
Man, what an interesting game. Cold Fusion looks like such a fun track, the surf rock tune is probably the best in the game!
My favorite track in Hot Wheels Turbo Racing is Road To Rustwell because it is a beautiful day outside
The memories! I would love to be the kid again and play this with my brother everyday! 🤩

Haven't played this in about 20 years... I forgot how ridiculous the voice announcing the cars was, I love it
I bought and played this game back in 2002, pure nostalgia.
I remember this. Same with Nascar Rumble, great arcade-style games in the late original PlayStation era.
That last win at volcano blowout was insane!
Powerpipes, Stealth and Snake, dam has it really been that long?
I like Hot Wheels, I'd really like this game, my childhood.
I had this game on the N64. Man, this sure brings back memories
Bruh this video hit me right into my childhood I literally unlocked all the cars lol
Jesus i havent seen this in probably 23 years. Crazy nostalgia feels out of nowhere
The best hotwheels game ever made
I had this on n64. Gotta take those shortcuts and get those hidden cars! And land those tricks lol 😂

Where my love for cars and metal music originated lol
Kind of makes me think of Rumble Racing on the PS2, though the tracks are a lot tighter.
I had like half those hot wheels cars irl as a child. Good memories
Makes me miss my mom, great times though man
I remember spending so much time trying to find the secret shortcuts
