I constantly experience people telling me "I had no idea what to expect" or "I didn't know it was foam like this" and both tell me this is still new to consumers so we're ahead of the wave by doing it now. Thanks again for the kind words!!!

    Use caution using the foam with an inground swimming pool, awesome video

    • @FoamGuy
      @FoamGuy 3 месяца назад

      Thank you and absolutely 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽 I’m putting together a video for the way I shoot in pools but basically I shoot directly across and make a “bridge” looking pile of foam that can be swam through. You definitely don’t want to cover a majority nor the entire pool. That could be horrific. I also put barriers on the side I’m shooting at so people can’t walk over there. The foam could cover the exterior of the pool and cause somebody to fall in without realizing they’re even close.

      Question tho. Isn't soap bad for lawns? Does it need to be treated after in any way?

    • @FoamGuy
      @FoamGuy 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@Luquin88 no, not at all but you have to use what’s made for foam. Some of these other dudes try to save a buck and use wild things like dish soap from dollar stores and that will impact the grass especially if having a longer party but if you buy your foam powder or gel from foam daddy or party machines then you won’t have any problem. Same with skin and eyes. Use the right stuff and you won’t have any problems.

    Which one would you say to start off with the all in one pit or the foam daddy cannon

    • @FoamGuy
      @FoamGuy 3 месяца назад

      The foam cannon. The pit is good and popular too but the cannon is the franchise player.

    • @FoamGuy
      @FoamGuy 3 месяца назад

      and disclaimer; I often suggest both as both will rent and the foam pit manufacturer has a deal that comes with a bunch of foam. The cannon is the more popular product tho.

    Great video. Very informative! The website says that pit is 13x13...are those the inside dimensions of actual usable space? Does that pit have tie down capabilities? Would love to see a video on insurance for this type of business. Looks awesome!

    • @FoamGuy
      @FoamGuy 11 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for checking out the video. In this industry that's usually the actual usable space and I'll be honest, I just somewhat accept that usual assumption. Ill hit up Party Machines to confirm. Yes, they have same hook/tie downs as bounce houses. I have a video on that too, I'll forward it over to you. I'm making a video as we speak on insurance. I'll send it over to you once done. Thanks again for checking out my page and video 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

    Yo brother awesome video!! Are you doing this full time or is this a side hustle? How much is this bringing in a year right now? I’m thinking of trying this out as a business man!

    • @FoamGuy
      @FoamGuy 11 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you!!! And thank you for checking out my video. I do it "full time" but I also rent jumpers, water slides, tables and chairs and theater style big screens. I run it completely solo and projecting gross for the year around 70k. I put quotations around full time because it's not a 40 hour type hustle. The majority of the action is Friday - Monday with Monday being dedicated to cleaning everything. The trick is getting those weekday bookings and once those come in, your entire life changes bro!! My current goal is employees next spring and at that point the math will be nice but they might be needed sooner. For example, I have 4 foam parties this weekend but could have had 2 more if not for time conflicts which would be fixed with employees. I didnt have that issue in June tho so there's evidence of successful scaling in process 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽 do it bro!!!

    • @FoamGuy
      @FoamGuy 11 месяцев назад +1

      Also worth noting is I only buy equipment that one man can handle. I don't have any of those 20+ foot slides for example. If those become a variable, which they can with employees, that yearly sky rockets also. Pros and cons. I do every job by myself but outside of foam, the most expensive rental by itself is $250 for an all day water slide.

    • @FoamGuy
      @FoamGuy 10 месяцев назад

      My bad for the delayed response!! I absolutely prefer the large foam cannon over the stacker. You can get two foam cannons for the cost of 1 stacker. Each 70 gallon tote is a little short of 1 hour of nonstop foam. Depending on the crowd and a few other details, you don’t always shoot non stop tho.

  • @dpascal95

    Do you find that powder foam is better than liquid or gel foam like Foam daddy sells?

    • @FoamGuy
      @FoamGuy Год назад +1

      Yes. Powder is super easy to store and it mixes on the spot. Also, it's one pack per tote. No measuring or anything. Foam Daddy gel needs to be prepared beforehand then transported to the site and then mixed with the water. I see people in FB groups debate the amount of mixture for gel all the time. I just dump 1 pack on site then stir with a broom stick and I'm done 🔥🔥🔥🔥

    • @FoamGuy
      @FoamGuy Год назад +1

      Also, I use a 70 gallon tote with 1 pack of foam powder and get an hour of foam.

      @@FoamGuy I appreciate the reply! I’m looking at the foam pit you recommend in another video. Maybe grabbing some string lights and the rest of the equipment you said to. Kids are back in school so I fear not getting much traction

      @dpascal95 my pleasure 💯💯💯 do it bro!!! Best of luck with the hustle. Right now my August and September are busy but October doesn't have anything on the books yet which is understandable.
