Shuttle buses, investigation, continue after RT derailment

- TTC Line 3 remains closed after a Scarborough RT train car derailed near Ellesmere station. Shuttle buses are in service, and it’s possible the aging transit line will be decommissioned 4 months ahead of schedule. Shauna Hunt reports.
There are still so many shots of the RT I wanna get before it's gone. I really want the RT to return to service.

Its Cause of Line 5 Eglinton Crosstowne not being opened where Buses Can be Used other routes and will also help aid with some resources with the Line 3 Replacements. As well as there was a Peak Period Express which was 903 Scarborough Centre Express then it Interlines with 131 Nugget after Scarborough Centre Stn. The TTC Needs to Implement this Route Back.
Like me I am so sad and the other People Who are having hard time and I am sad being decommissioned Rt is always delaying cause it is too old I thought it was closing November but it is closing early..
I don’t know what they are gonna do with 3001, if they retire that train car they might as well just retire the whole train set
ONE Subway Car Had Problems Not 100 Cars So majority is still OK to operate
Just bring it off line permanently. The RT is too out of shape

I totally understand what that guy was talking about. I was on the SLRT in July sat 15 2023. After leaving Kennedy station the train Cart started making an awful sound. I looked around and everyone else seemed fine with the sound so I didn't worry too much
It's been doing that for decades apparently. I was regularly riding it in late 2021 - early 2022 and on rainy days the sound was so unbearable I would have to physically cover my ears or put my music up.
Yeah the RT was just like that
Yank up everything and have buses run along the elevated part. It was originally designed for streetcars

the last time I took this RT was at the end of July last year, then I got positive and finally decided to drive to the office.

How does this even happen? Too dangerous to have trains operating beyond life cycle and allowing riders on them is unacceptable. Shut down the line and rebuild from scratch.
