Going on holiday in a few weeks time and petrified of flying usually I have something to take to calm my nerves but noticed watching these before I go seems to calm down haha think it's a way of basically saying see it is safe. Great vid! X
I thoroughly enjoyed that flight, doing it for real in 2 days....thank you for sharing, im going with Thomas Cook you put my mind to rest.....thank you!!!!
Great video i love watching videos of flying on planes it helps relax me :) quick question does this aircraft have movies available to watch thanks anyway great video!
This video is amazing! Definately giving a like! I am flying from Manchester Airport to Palma De Mallorca on the 16th of May (2016) only, I am flying on a Jet2 plane. I am so scared although it is my 2nd holiday which means I have already been on a plane. Also, you've earned yourself a new subscriber! (I'm 11).
Do you know what plane Thomas Cook would be operating from Manchester to rhodes in July 2017? Will I have to put up with an Airbus A321 if I go? Cheers and greetings from Sheffield :).Ben
hi....was thinking about picking seat 8a for our holidays. was it a good window seat, or was it one of those seats where you were you are between 2 Windows ? no probs if you can't remember.....Really good video btw
Mark Graham, To be totally honest, it's irrelevant from this video because Thomas Cook doesn't have Boeing 757-200s anymore. So it is unlikely to reflect the aircraft that you will be flying on. Sorry about that, have a nice flight :D
alan scott It is usually to help the aircraft increase the flare just before touchdown to make it more smooth, doesn't look like it went too well this time ahaha! Never mind, thanks and yes the RB211's are absolutely amazing :D
RioLetsPlays Yes I had that in my ear hole for the whole flight lol. I cut out a lot of the pushback, they both said, I didn't know planes can reverse... and another one was, Oh look its that airline with the harp on the tail, she started talking about eharmony, the dating website ??? Thanks anyway :D
Conor010 Aviation Channel ✈✈ LOL......Fortunately, you had those amazing RB211's in your ear hole as well. ;) Congrats on 1K subs, Conor! Well deserved. :)
I flew on this exact plane (G-TCBB) on 08/04/15, 3 days prior to you as flight number TCX3126 Glasgow - Fuerteventura. The least I can say is we had a 'few issues'... really wouldn't have liked to be you on that plane after! The following link kind of explains the situation. www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/13305678.Holiday_flight_SCARE_after_mid_air_instruments_alert/ I was on that flight and now I see it was back in service on the 11th which makes me slightly confused. This is mainly due to the fact we had a fuel leak and a problem with the entrance/exit cabin door. We were delayed in Glasgow Int'l Airport for around an hour, during which time we were notified of a problem with the door. Then, somewhere over the Irish Sea, we were notified of a fuel tank failure of some sort and the pilot was faced with a dilemma. He announced we would have to change planes at London Gatwick after jettisoning some fuel near Cork/Wexford. Upon arriving into Gatwick we were told to change over to a long distance Airbus as the Boeing 757-200 would be in repairs for the next week or so. The minimum amount of days for these repairs should be 4 working days however, you travelled on it just 3 days after me. This poses the question, was it fixed at all or were you flying on a potential deathtrap(!!!). :) The FlightRadar24 twitter page below clearly shows my flight on 8/4/15 and its flight path up to (almost) Wales. (So you can know I'm not lying xD) twitter.com/search?q=tcx3126&src=typd Also, the French ATC were on strike at the time (again...) so we ended up diverting from Gatwick in the newer Airbus via Cornwall and over to Portugal, skirting the outer rim of the Bay of Biscay Flight Jurisdiction Boundary. In the end we arrived over 6 hours late into Fuerteventura! Just thought I'd let you know you may have been on a faulty plane! ;)
Evan Lockey I appreciate the concern and detailed comment but I flew on G-TCBB not BC which appears to be the plane that you flew on that had the technical problems. BB and BC both had the Egypt livery so maybe that's how it has confused you ;)

Yeah I know that, I'm flying Thomson, but the plane will still be the same.....thanks anyway
wonder why the pilot added power just before touch down, hence the hard landing? great video by the way love those RB 211s

The touchdown looked very slow!

Conor010 Aviation Channel ✈✈ I have a photo from outside the plane and it appears to be G-TCBB I was on... idk though :)
Evan Lockey if you look at the screenshot of the twitter post, it says BC, but they're both very similar on the outside
i can see my house from there lol ,
