Thank you for saying "slight" mistakes in my first round even though I literally fucked up the whole round 😂 I don't know exactly happened in this round but I know we were soo exhausted and my concentration felt kinda off on stage so I made soooo many mistakes because from an execution standpoint it was definitely one of my hardest round to perform😭 Tbh I don't think I had a chance against Slethers second round with the tracks I had left anyway so he deserved to win this battle 100% and I'm so happy for him! I hope we can have a rematch next year :)
Both Slether and you were obviously the best two with great rounds and the beauty of having great vocals to go with your beats. Could easily see both of you guys in the GBB next year pushing everybody to their limits to win. Great job and good luck in future.

It is very experimental as my second snare is played on the off beat on the 4(so on 4.5 of the beat) which the also alters the hihats to different positions. I wanted to show off my knowledge of music theory and it's rhythms to the judges which in turn cost me some audience points as it is a very unfamiliar feel. It becomes even more confusing when I play the Arp which isn't syncopated like the beat which makes it feel like everything is random but I assure you that when you count it it's all in time. Just for anyone with questions about the round 😆😁.

Bro you slaughtered GBC22 :-D and your voice is fcking amazing xD I hope you keep your style and don't silent record cuzz like you've said in your reaction the "teasing audience" is cool and perfect for this format in my opinion :-)

not many people undestrand off beats and he clearly has a lot of knowledge about different timings and patterns that's why most people don't like this style. It's much harder to perfect time an irregular beat than a regular one and he nailed it!
The funny part is, everything is always on time, tho not everyone can hear the patter if you dont know music theory or dont have keen ear for this stuff. So yea, it sound chaotic af and off beat, but its perfectly on beat and its insane how he manages to do that. These beats are mostly for the judges cause they all understand these patters thats why you can clearly see Rhytmind bouncing to the second round of Slether when the glitchy hi hat was being put on. Insanely high level of sound design, way above GBB level of many loopers.
The transition for the dnb drop in Slether’s second round was so freakin perfect. The drop itself also hit super hard… I literally shouted when it came 😂
Syjo's 2nd round is definitely my favorite of this competition. It feels like a song that could be played at some sort of concert and win over anybody immediately. It is so good.
I remember during the BBU when Den was like really ravaging everything, and people said that he would win BBU... But then Hiss showed up and changed the fate. I felt the same when I saw this battle... Like "Syjo's gonna win this, I'm sure", "Syjo is unstoppable", "Syjo is the GOAT", Syjo this- Syjo that- But then Slether showed himself... "I kinda underestimated this guy" that's what I said 😐 Slether has just passed by silently with an atomic bomb behind his back ! They were so high level, I wasn't prepared for this. Come on, you can't do that to us... Well, congrats to both of them for gaining more experiences and making such an epic battle, I ENJOYED ! ❤ Congrats to the other beatboxers too for making it this far I love you all !❤🔥 By the way, Syjo's second round was my favorite of all this competiton. I confess that the first time I heard this 2nd round of slether, I thought it was strange, I only liked the drops, but after listening to it 2, 3 times... I got addicted to it, everything made more sense 🤩
This whole German Loopstation Battle felt more like a showcase rather than a battle. Everyone just had their own tracks and it was all really Boppy and Headbangers
