It can make sense if you want any review of the completed tasks. So the person responsible for the task moves it to "done", but that's just their perspective in the moment. It's only complete after everyone (e.g. a customer) reviewed it and are happy with the state. So "complete" means that any required management after moving it to "done" is also done.

I'm hoping Todoist supports a feature that that moves done tasjs automatically to the Done column (already submitted a feedback in the past)
Question: why would you both have a "Done" section and the possibility to check the task? Is it not better to just remove the Done section?
That's a very good question. The "done" section makes sense when you have your Kanban on a physical borad. Right?
