Daniel 1 & 2 - 18.9.2024

The book of Daniel tells the story of Daniel and his friends in exile in Babylon. It is divided into two parts: narratives of their faithfulness to God in a foreign land in chapters 1-6 and visions of future events in chapters 7-12. In the first two chapters, Daniel and his friends remain faithful to God in Babylon by refusing the king's food, and God blesses them with wisdom. Daniel interprets King Nebuchadnezzar's dream of a statue, revealing God's future plan for kingdoms and the coming of His eternal kingdom.
