Yeah, I've noticed that, unfortunately, most people in their "Using Products I Hate" videos do that. Trying to make the makeup work that you know doesn't work would actually put emphasis on the flaws of the product for the viewers (and also be the entire point of even using the products on camera instead of listing it in a "Products I Don't Like" list. If you're not going to try, then what are the viewers getting out of the "demonstration"? Same or even LESS than a simple list video)
I just think you need a new shade for the shape tape concealer. That shade is way too light for you, so it's harder to blend because the color of your foundation and the color of the concealer just don't contrast well together. I'm about the same skintone as you and I use medium.

Maybe you don't like this products but ON TOP you are doing a crazy makeup, not blending and using a super light concealer. Of course it's going to look, feel or dislike. Great video tho!

I actually don't enjoy Maybelline's Fit Me concealer because it creases on me after having it on for a while. :( For eyeliner, I don't really like Rimmel's ScandalEyes Micro Eyeliner. It says that it's waterproof, but it doesn't last long on me. I was really sad about it, tbh. And for lippies, Coloupop's Ultra Satin Liquid Lipsticks. Don't get me wrong, I loveee Colourpop and their Ulta Matte Liquid Lipsticks, but their Ultra Satin ones transfer so bad it looks like I made out with my coffee mug after one sip 😩
I prefer powder highlight over cream. Applying it with a brush is just easier. I use a cream highlight as well, but using my fingers to apply, it doesn't get the highlight on very precisely in my opinion. Like Heart said, it's just a lot more work and time. A highlighting fan brush has its specific shape and outline for your cheeks and etc, so I use a brush instead. 👀
Leah Geiger - me too!!! It makes my under eyes so dry and cracked looking. I've tried so hard to make it work, I even tried using it as a primer for my lids but it makes them look dry and cracked too lol. Idk just didn't work for me.

Heart, a tip for the tarte shape tape concealer, is that to only use a tiny tiny amount. Like i mean just a dot wherever you put concealer. Bcuz it is very full coverage. 😊

I've never liked cream blush either, but I found the Maybelline Dreamy Bouncy Blush and it's all I use now! It's a cream to powder formulation, takes 15 seconds to blend, and gives you a perfect wash of color. I would give them a try!

For the tarte shape tape I use one dot under each eye only and it makes it easier to work with and covers everything at the same time whenever I want light coverage so try that, it might work for you!

The reason that it might be hard for you to blend cream products is because that it goes underneath your powder!
