I let it go and didn’t maintain it so I’ll be starting over this year…I’ll be using the tractor though so it will be a lot easier!

I'll never understand why people make it so small. If your going to do things like this make it as big as possible, this way you can move around, let other places heal. Just so people know the proper way to make a tee box is removing 6 inches of soil, adding drainage if the area your using is bad at draining water. Use a sand and peat mixture, for tees 50% sand and 50% peat will work, for greens USGA specs call for 90 to 95% sand the rest peat, this is typical of the greens in United States, some courses haven't had a renovation so they're still using clay push up greens that drain very poorly. You should add greens so you can make some golf holes or target greens.

I definitely did this tee box on an extreme budget, but I am planning in the future to go all in on it and build it really nice. I have a lot of work to do on drainage in this field though before I spend too much money building anything at this site.
