I think development should be asking the community what we want, not what they want. That’s why a lot of people didn’t like the last few updates, bc it’s stuff the development team wanted, not what we wanted.
Chances are, nobody wanted bloxburg to go free, the development team just made it free without asking people “is this the best time for us to go out of Beta?” Also the job updates, it sucks now that you have to charge your efficiency to 100% to make the most money, I preferred working pizza delivery before that, even if the moped was slow.
Fainting and towing fees - again, I’m gonna assume nobody wanted them, cuz it gets annoying having to boost your moods before paying a hospital fee

istg i like the dev team but its almost like their doing it on purpose, and then them just going on break after no update was the icing on the cake
I appreciate you talking about how all decisions are made by higher ups in the company. I’ve been trying to caution people when saying the developers and community managers aren’t doing a good job because they aren’t making all of these decisions. I haven’t seen anyone talk about this so I’m so glad you’ve touched on it. 🙂

why did the bloxburg community get so toxic all of a sudden? like the community wasnt ever like this even when the game went free but when the devs who are people who have feelings and lives and families decide to take summer break like the rest of the world, suddenly its a crisis. this is just unreal.

Tbh, Bloxburg's map is the only thing holding it back from being the best roleplay game on Roblox. For one, everything is super spread out and the only source of nature the map has is a ton of outdated trees scattered around. Second, it's missing many crucial things involved in role-plays such as a school or a hospital. If they can rework their map, they will probably see a huge boom in players.
I'm scared but excited for the new map 😭 I used to be a huge Rocitizens fan but once they changed the map, I just quit playing because of how big and laggy it was (although they did later add where you can play the old map too) Hopefully the new map will be good!! Old Bloxburg will always have a place in my heart but then again, the more updates the more fun the game is ^^

It was like the free version of Bloxburg before the free version of Bloxburg released 😭) and you can now select what map you want to play on in that game, which I think would be cool for Bloxburg too!! Although I doubt that would be added

as a game developer, for me, its easy to acknowledge that development isnt always very flashy, a lot of times, you make a "huge" update but players dont find it huge, to them you didnt make an update. this happens because sometimes for new features to be added, huge amounts of code needs to be reworked/created (to accommodate a feature, but also to future-proof it for future features!) but, of course, players cant see these changes and there's no good way to explain it in a way the players actually will care about so a lot of times you wont say anything at all.

It’s a never ending cycle, the bigger a game gets, the harder it is to work with the code, the longer it takes for new updates, the angrier the community gets when those updates aren’t as big as they used to be.
Can we just appreciate how good his building skills are in the background?😊

@@samp7228 coeptus never took a break if anything worked on bloxburg on his own time, during the whole making of bloxburg he was in highschool and just last year getting into college so he had a lot on his plate but still delivered, he let them take the game also considering they have more time than a college student working on his his actual career, when this is theres. its dramatic calling it disgusting, if anything they didn't have to say anything about a break, bloxburg doesn't get updated that often .they are grown adults a whole team compared to one guy who kept the game running to now be a millionare. Also, it hasnt even been a year on the game that they been working on it, atleast to me they were rushing updates a bit so people expected more updates quicker. (edited)
If anything the kids who are too young, and the new players who were excited were probably the one's more angry than the OG players. We understand but have also been waiting a long time for this, they signed up for it

i honestly don't think the new bloxburgers realize how little updates we get per year and that is why they are mad. I think they were expecting them to get weekly updates like other games but that simply isn't going to happen
I genuinely stopped playing after that job update and it’s not even because I’m upset about it but I simply do not have enough time to work on a game when I work a real 40 plus hours a week like it will always have a special place in my heart because I started playing when my grandma passed away and it helped me escape my reality but at the same time I don’t have the money to spend to buy money on a game or the time to work on the game to be able to build how I would like
So after reading a few comments I realized I’m not the only one who thinks that bloxburgs community has gone bad. I have also experienced it for myself too. Toxic people, inappropriate behavior and more. But what I wanted to focus on was the inappropriate part. I was playing bloxburg and someone had a club, these people take role playing to a whole NEW LEVEL. And the club had pole dancers. That’s just sick. For a kids game too. Then people have to consistently warn their role plays to not do such as the “devils tango”. And some will say they don’t care about it, but my problem is. There are certain emotes in the game that ALLOW players to do such inappropriate acts. Such as for example the push up emote. People are disgusting. The devil is truly a lie.

it would be cool if with the map revamp they added some kind of ski slope with ski lifts and in winter you can go sledding there and skiing or snowboarding of they add that

I agree that something might be going on in the background that no one knows about. It seems like a lot of people are being kept in the dark, not just the community. I'm happy to see more content creators talking about things like this!
Hey Regain! You’ll probably not read this comment, but MANY people come to your videos to hear you talk about something on in bloxburg, see updates and other things. I ain’t one of em, I come to your vids to watch you build. I mean come on! That campsite your building is just chefs kiss! I loved it! And your voice is so calming. I’ve recently been watching like silent screams, Susan and other Bloxburg stories by Robuilds. I was so happy you were there I really enjoyed the movies and I hope you guys make more. ❤

I kinda like the old map but I think there needs to be more plots because its annoying when Im in a neighbourhood and its ran out of plots...

It is disgusting but they may have good reason as coeptus was in highschool and wasn't taking any breaks. The company that owns bloxburg now is a full company ran by adults and people could be angry since they are an entire team compared to one highschool boy. I still agree that they took it badly though.

I think Bloxburg is doing well with their updates because according to what I have noticed, many games that updates almost daily gets to the point where either it crashes or the update ruins the game and etc but as for Bloxburg, they take a lot of time for their updates but it was always so worth it and I believe all these updates are gonna click in for the map revamp... Guys we just need to be patient, after all, we're just the players and they are the developers... Why would we be anry or judge the community or the game without knowing if it's hard to control a big game?

I feel like if the map revamp is a very good update then I might not be mad and it’s not because of the noobs entering Blocksburg. I don’t really care about them, but it’s the fact that I paid 25 Robux and got nothing but a couch car and a freaking trophy.
"Not like you did much anyways"; "Recharge from what?" ....I dare them be devs for 1 week. And devs that care for the game, that really do work on it. Using the studio drove me crazy.
For almost 5 years, I literally played Roblox like a phsycopath. Day by day, hours after hours, especially Bloxburg, and boredom installed. I've been waiting forever for events and updates that would make me return to Roblox, because it was so much fun! The old Bloxburg map will always mean lots of memories for me, but a revamp would make place for others✨
But I remember that back in the day, the community was super cool! Everyone was super ok, and now...everything fell apart
I don’t want the full map revamp but I’m also curious to see but I would probably want a game question to be like “what map would you like to choose?”
in my opinion they shouldn't be rushed on the amount of teasers they put out, and people shouldn't be backlashing them since most people don't actually know how long it takes to create an update and such, and it also makes it more exciting if we don't know about an update and we might even be more grateful when it comes. the fact is that all the developers are doing is trying to improve the gameplay for everyone, if they made us pay for their services then people have the right to get annoyed if they are lacking, but its all free so people just need to be grateful and patient!
I don't really care what the updates are unless there's one that expands the plot more, and that would be AMAZING, because I've got a mega build that I would like a bit more room for. Maybe add another option for a few more floors/levels, cause I think the maximum is something like 7, and when one room takes up 2 or 3 floors, that's a little bit of a bummer.
Well i’ve been playing bloxburg since 2017 when I was 3-4 ish years old i payed for the game and that campsite if i can remember hasn’t changed at all so to be honest this update isn’t bad!

People working in a roblox game worth 140m dollars are allowed to go on a holiday, and to the people who think why are they doing nothing, they have to code, make models, and work and people disrespect them.

i personally think bloxburg would've been in a wayy better place rn if they considered what the players wanted and gave us updates that we wanted and they did neither. so they needed money rushed bloxburg to go free to get more money and their player count still dropped and went on a break like everything was fine. not saying they didn't need a break but tbh, they haven't done nothing compared to coeptus who is one person to a whole team, who has had miss after miss after miss.
Back to school update early September..?? That would be THE BEST ONE YET!!

The time has come!
I think the developers are doing fine. People dont understand why some updates happened and some of them arent even that bad.
For example, fainting. You can keep your moods up by keeping a toy cat in your inventory, and playing with it every now and again. The beach also has a shower and food for you to boost your moods.
And the people who are angry and being disrespectful towards the devs for taking a break need to be put in their position. They dont deserve the game if they cant be grateful and enjoy the updates that come out.
The shed turned out to be a buildable outhouse
If the update is a flop again and no camp revamp just items or items and the revamp but not good it will not maybe it will basically lose the majority of views for all bloxburg RUclipsrs and a major decrease in active players, so it will affect everyone

I’ve been playing Bloxburg since it came out and I honestly am happy we get teasers but I think a lot of people’s issues is the pay and it becoming free, the pay I very much understand I mean people worked really hard to level up pizza but being mad because it became free makes no sense to me. Bloxburg was in beta mode for a while which ment that it was in the process of being made. So it cost robux, you can see more of these today in Roblox but Bloxburg was just so popular that people were upset.

I mean i wish the developers would be more like Gigi (the DTI developer) because Gigi seems to look at the comments and see what the people playing the game thinks of the updates or/and what she should add or take back or remove or fix and more so i think the bloxburg developers should look into what the players think and what they’re saying more :) (sorry if this is long its just my opinion)

This is one part of a map revamp they might have already made it but as he said they cannot share everything, they do stuff that we don’t see,.
uh actually in game development we usually procedurally animate stuff like fireflies since it's easier to program a randomized animation than it is to get an animator to animate every single firefly

Here's the thing about community management. Do it properly, or just don't do it straight up. There no in between, just polar opposites.

Its the Fact that people that ain't grateful enough for what they got they are not the best develepers in Roblox and don't expect them to always give you want you want whatever they will do will be in the future just wait you don't need to be doing all this yapping about a game they are trying there best they worked for us just for your satisfaction like seriously yall have to be grateful for what you have right now instead of the past or future.

doing my homework is about 20 minutes, building a home is like about 1 hour, eating takes less than 30 minutes, but they cant even create a single damn update for a month. The only thing we got is food and a bunch of cool designs but thats it. ALSO WHY IS BUBBLE TEA A LIMITED ITEM

I’ve been playing bloxburg for a while now and I feel like I’m gonna take a permanent break. Bloxburg used to bed(and kind of still is) my 1 favorite game on Roblox. I’m really disappointed with these updates. I miss the coeptus bloxburg. Also I really don’t want a map revamp
the whole payment system update was the worst thing they ever did, I also left the game because of it, it’s a building game, not a working game, but lately it has felt like that.
