I don't know why, but this engine has the best spool up sound made by a GE engine, even better than the GE90 (I know it's from Engine Alliance, and there is P&W influence, but still is in part a GE engine). It's comparable to the RR Trent 900. The GE90 and other GE engines have higher pitch than RR engines, which are more grave and imposing (from my point of view). Regardless, these engines sound awesome!

That’s some high praise! The GP7270 is certainly very underrated, I love the low growl through the climb right after takeoff.
