Fun fact: Adventurer cards can’t be messed with, so you can use that to prove stuff (funnily enough, Aqua’s lists her race as Goddess, but she’s too dumb to use it as proof.) Another thing is that Aqua auto-purifies liquids she touches, which includes alcohol, so she’s ‘drunk’ off of the placebo effect and is just drinking water (made clearer in the LN, where Kazuma confesses in S2E9 about the alcohol, because he did the ‘drinks all the alcohol and replaces it with water’ trick and Aqua had no idea until then.) Kyouya is a parody of white knights/Gary Stus like Kirito from SAO, so it’s pretty funny to see Kazuma beat him underhandedly by knowing his enemy. The Steal threat is also the first showing of Kazuma’s character flaw of getting too in the moment and making a mistake/going too far.
This isn't correct; perhaps you're misremembering the novels. She drinks harder alcohol with higher alcohol content because it takes longer to purify. She still gets drunk; it's not a placebo. Also, he replaced it with cheaper booze, not water.
No, it's stated that if Aqua is careful and doesn't let the alchohol touch her lips, it doesn't get purified. Meaning liquid only gets purified if it touches her outer skin.

It's funny that no one believes Aqua is a goddess, but her adventure card states her race as "goddess". Adventure cards can't be forged.😅
