Pretty sure they made the right call not targeting the roaming throne with the double Firstborn trigger. If I remember right when you have 2 thrones on the board they apply to each other so the ward 2 becomes ward 4 and they did not have that much mana.
Damn, I gave this deck a spin and it feels busted as all get out! The value just spirals wildly out of control and people just can't keep up with it. And every draw feels like a clutch draw LOL. Kudos on your list!
I can't believe you didn't run into ONE sunfall.. When I play cool creature decks like these I ALWAYS get sunfalled. Even when I face other go-wide-creature decks it seems like they always run sunfalls just to break up the staring contests..

That's the problem with MTGA content haha... When you find a cool and effective deck to try, you somehow get matched against your nemesis and get stomped multiple times in a row... Also bad luck/bad draw almost never happens on Yt in general :p
I've been playing this deck and it is a blast. I've run into multiple board wipes and always had a few incubate tokens on the side and some creatures in hand! Really dig this one!
Definitely don't forget about Glissa's third option. It is great for forcing damage or clearing their board when both sides are going wide. Most decks don't have a lot of first and double strike.

Ratadrabik + roaming throne (double zombie triggers) + glissa/sheoldred is pretty strong. Sliding mondrak and necroduality in there can be fun for teh mems
Have you tried Roaming Throne with Phyrexian Obliterator in the fight deck? Basically wipe out every permanent on their entire board with one Bushwhack/Tail Swipe when you have the Roaming Throne out as well. Pretty disgusting. Would love to see your take on this though! Was there any particular reason why you didn't run any Seedcores? Only your Drown and Vraska need the Swamp. The Plains and Forest could be Seedcores without affecting your mana base. That would help fix your mana a bit and avoid the situation you had where your Forest was holding you back from casting Glassa. With the extremely fringe, but non-zero possibility of giving your Inquisitor +2/+1.
43:00 Not that it mattered kn the end but you totally could've attacked there. They block the two highest power things and you're still hitting for 28 damage.
Just played this deck against mono blue and between the cavern of souls and censor it was hands down the easiest win I’ve ever had on arena. It felt so good to just turn off mono blue.
Can Someone Please Tell Me How To Activate The Abilities On Cards...Like...Tap 1 Swamp To Add +1 +1 Until End Of Turn....? I click on it then it turns red and doesn't let me tap a land... Other option .... I can tap land when it is blue and it Tally's up by my life number....🤔 .... But clicking on the card with the ability still didn't work...🤷 How do u activate abilities on cards that take land to activate?... Thank u ✌️♥️😎🏠
I found out that Vraska does not remove "jail" effects in one fateful draft. I was so excited to get back my creature AND remove theirs... and then promptly lost my Vraska (my only mythic drafted) and did not get my creature. Weird interactions!
Not weird at all. When the text states "until it leaves the battlefield", the jailer is still on the battlefield even though it's a treasure now. It IS the treasure after all.

This creature is no longer a creature, so you'd think the effect falls off entirely. The TREASURE is still on the battlefield, but the creature is not. Weird.

Does the casting restriction persist for the rest of the turn even if it's removed? In his game vs mono red, they still had plenty of cards in hand and two lands open. I would think that with the source of the static effect gone they could have played something. Swayze seemed to think so. Update: No, the effect does not persist. Nonetheless it didn't stop me from utterly walling off Mono Red and giving them the smackdown.

@@RetroMTG yeah I understand about the activation on the butcher, I was mainly wondering about the processors death abilit, if it triggers twice, if so not bad. The reason why the butcher seemed like it was good was because he gets double incubate tokens because of Glista right so he could always sack one of them to bring the butcher back from the graveyard, if need be, so he would have plenty of fodder. This deck needs more removal, as soon as a Sheoldred is on the board you struggle as cannot remove easily.
