I'm being drawn to say this to you. As you were talking about your past it seems your countenance changed. Something in my spirit is nudging me to say this to you. If this offends you in any way, please pardon my words and disregard.
Forgive yourself, Mary. Truly forgive yourself. You are so hard on yourself. More than you are on other people. This life is a beautiful, lifelong, daily, spiritual journey and we have choices. Sometimes we make choices that are better than others. That doesn't mean those choices were bad. God allows us to go through those things to ultimately bring us closer to Him.
You don't know, what you don't know. That thought of "Man if I had known this then." But even if you did, true discernment, the experiences you had before that decision, your relationship with God, etc. was different than it is today.
Our loving, gracious Creator knows you, down the the very number of hairs on your head, and He has the power to work EVERYTHING out for the greater good for you.
Grace is the free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.
Please give yourself the grace that God is giving you.
Condemnation is from Satan in fear.
But true conviction is from God and is with love. 💕

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
