I agree...mamy other movements of the other 8 Liszt transcriptions are piano trying to fit the orchestral movements while no. 7 Allegretto movement truly is better on piano.... meant to be...much like Bach Adagio bwv 564.

Miguel Trujillo I believe that was the original composition by Beethoven and this one was arranged by Liszt for the piano, and the scene was the only best scene int he movie in my opinion

And exactly here the tempo control is in the hands of a one musician, and not of 50 people who have to play "with a metronome" otherwise they all disorder everything! This is the key point of the piano performance!! Well, if you need a "rhythm" - better listen marches by military bands.

It first skips a beat and than it is fast attacked in the next second.However, this is the worst version of this transcription i´ve ever heard.
Kevin Weinberger playing like a robot is not a good idea ... dynamics are the idea and the tempo is for beginners trying to play with a metronome .. iam studying music and my instrument is piano and iam a music producer and i know how to play with tempo but sometimes i feel like i want to change the dynamics.. it depends on the melody you play ..
